how did they let a 3 goal half time lead slip away against a rather toothless team??we are not talking about mercurial players like henry, zidane or ronaldino...but a rather plain outfit...

its time for the italians to revisit their destiny...against an improved liverpool side...and allow liverpool to exocise the ghost in milan..and lay them to rest forever....

Honestly, I always felt that Milan vs Liverpool game in Istanbul was fixed. There's no way a club like AC Milan can loose a 3 goal lead in a European Cup Final.

 

Anyway, I am feeling sad coz Milan beat my team this morning!!

now...tell me how much do these players earn in a week?

 

highest probably around 120K pounds, which is about S$360K. lowest at least 40K pounds..which is S$120,000.

 

lets say the average is 60K pounds...or S$180K.

 

how much would you think it takes for them to throw the match away? 1 month salary S$720,000? you think they would bother looking at 1 month salary? would you bother about S$720,000 if you already have millions to your name & the next million could come anytime with product endorsement? would you put your reputation at risk for 1 week's pay?

 

then how many people do you have to bribe? 1? would it be effective?

 

who to bribe? striker to miss a goal? what if they concede?

 

goalkeeper to let in goal? what if your teammate scores?

 

you would probably need to bribe quite a few players...

 

so how much money do you need to bribe a team to lose?

 

 

 

if in s'pore...maybe i believe lah...the players earn $2,000 to $3,000 a month...possible...

 

but in europe...with that kind of money they are earning? hard lah...

You may have miss the big picture... Whenever there is entertainment value it is likely that there is big players controlling the game. I guess they dun bribe with million, they bride hundreds of millions. The world is so big, sometime we nvr know. Of course there will be geniune case of course like chelsea who have yet to won a champion league medal and is so ****in rich. Milan who won it so many times may think otherwise.

 

If I am the president of milan and the mafia offer me 100 million pounds to draw the match with liverpools, i may consider real hard whether is the cup worth 100 million, anyway draw only wat, still got extra time. Mafia win like siao if draw, am i correct. Sometime it may also be a case of threaten, mafia warn u not to win u dare to score??

 

 

Lastly the law of economic say whether there is demand there is supply.

 

Observe Dida that idiot, whenever he start a game with a moody expression, Milan will let in stupid goals. That why the ball is round. hahahahaha...
