liter machines are definitely a world of difference... eventually its a matter of getting use to it...is always intinidating initially but once you saddle them enough you will tame them....

2a is nnot difficult ,,, n.. no need to be shy.. just go for it...my mom at 57 went for her 2B.. if yu make it good... but not... jus try again.. will get there..

Agreed.

It takes abt 3 days to tame that liter-class superbike.

But it will take much longer to truly master it. I'm still trying, albeit unsuccesfully for now. :p

the price is very good, You are looking at an italian thoroughbred. not an average sportsbike. besides, you do not gauge thoroughbred values by age alone. at that price it has shed half its original value. worth considering. miss the oppurtunity.. it will be a very very long time before 1 becomes available again. most owners keep these machines and not sell them. when they do they usually change hand within friends in the circle.

hey guys thanx for yr thoughts, i'm kinda thinking for the same money can buy brand new 2005 R1 i know its common and not such a stunner although still nice. i also wonder if the bike been raced or not as i know the owner of excel race bike and this used to be his bike lah. i think with a good day spent on it would look showroom condition again. i agree the pillion seat cover very tatty and lost colour but i think can re-cover in bright red colour to look like F4S !!! i also notice the insurance very cheap as it comes under the category of 'others' and also the fact i'm the wrong side of 30 lah !!! in UK to own this kind of bike is a big status thing as all the usual jap superbikes are very common. it'll take some more thought but @ 22k exceeding my budget too, thanx guys
