Fellow Riders,

I saw a great deal on singaporelisted.com of a bike that which should cost at least $3500-$5000 as seen on the used bike section or other forums but this was just $2400 with 9 years of COE left which was kind of attractive and i went in and asked the seller about the details of the bike. His reply was quick and detailed which included the chassis and engine number, origin of the bike ( imported from italy ) photos and year of registration and even the first page of his italian passport which seems very legit but there was a catch.

The sell was a italian expat and he was here for 18 months till he had to leave for Kota Kinabalu to work there because his company sent him there. He had just left singapore two days ago and he brought his bike with him overseas ( again with proof of photo ) and i cant help but think that there's just something fishy about him so i decided to google the stuff he mentioned and there came up a seller with the exact same heading with the exact same photo and some familiar details that he gave to me via email but this legit seller was from E-bay US. He also kept insisting on getting my Personal Information like my IC and all that which is pretty much a big no-no and alarms were ringing.

So if you happen to stumble upon a vespa lx 150 from an italian guy check twice.

Be safe! and if something is too good to be true is probably is.

Face to face or no deal. Even sometimes when you deal face to face, there will be a number of people who will fly kite, talk so much as if he's gonna get it but in the end just wasting your time because its too difficult to be honest.
