Guys after discussing with hachi, i have come out with a solution. I will be riding up on Fri nite 6 of june around 9pm n reach there around 3am in the morning. so that we can have enough rest for the sat afternoon ride..

But if there is less then 5 bikes i am afraid i wont be riding up but instead we will be driving up there. Due to the safety reason , coz its dangerous to ride at nite in malaysia n also i am not familiar with malaysia road n also have never been there before. If possible i will hope to have a more experience rider to tag along n also to be a sweeper or leader. So those who are going on friday pls add ur name in coz i really pefer to ride there then to drive there..

I will edit jason post n those who is going togther with me. Pls i need to meet up 1 day n disscuse abt it. Coz its a very stressful thing for me if anyone get lost. And also the timing is very cruical.. I will ask hachi to be our tutor of the day if we meet up.

most important is we must confirm dates ASAP.

itinerary is free and easy, normally i would visit the tea and strawberry farms, eat steamboat, enjoy the cool air, visit the night bazaar, and trek the numerous trails and/or WALK UP gunung brinchang. (have to give the old lungs a workout!) accomodation is very basic at desa anthrium apartments subject to change.

looking for interested people to join, newbies/small bikes welcome.

riding speed is slow and easy, ard 100-120kmh. or more.

I would classified as No.1 respect for people....

Some riding tips

Don't underestimate the danger that out-of-sync or unpredictable riding partners can cause you.

Great roads and even better bikes are key ingredients for an enjoyable ride, but the most critical factor is being comfortable and confident with your fellow riding partners. Space yourselves out with at least a one- to two-second gap between you-and leave the who's-fastest competition for the track. When the road turns twisty, single-file formation works best.

The first key to riding harmony is communication among the riders. Don't be shy about initiating a discussion, setting the guidelines before the ride begins.

Allow the leader to set the pace, but let everyone know that there's no pressure to keep up.

When following, make sure that you can see the face shield of the leading rider's helmet in his mirror. You never want to be in his blind spot

I hope the new members should understand as I gain more experience, the more I am selective towards riding buddies. They must give at least as much consideration as myself if not more during trip. I am very fortunate to cultivate these group of friends and I hope new riders who joined us appreciate them as much as I would and make this trip one of the most memorable in 2008....

Edited video towards genting...Hope to shoot more videos this trip...

:) Yo francis & duncan, this degree course suitable for both of u, go upgrade so next time no need to polish aeroplane nose anymore

http://www.asiaone.com/News/Education/Story/A1Story20080324-55997.html

UniSIM to offer part-time aerospace degree programme

A PART-TIME aerospace degree programme is now open to working adults who want to further their studies without quitting their jobs.

In a tie-up with key industry and academic partners, SIM University (UniSIM) has announced it will offer 100 places in the course every year from July.

The programme is for diploma and GCE 'A' level graduates who are 21 years and older, with at least two years of work experience.

It will cover avionics such as aircraft navigation systems, aeronautics - which involves aircraft systems and frames - and also aerospace management.

The Aerospace Systems Engineering degree (Honours) is supported by Singapore Technologies (ST) Aerospace, Singapore Polytechnic and Cranfield University in the United Kingdom - which specialises in aerospace study.

UniSIM is the second university, after Nanyang Technological University (NTU), to offer an aviation degree programme.

Sealing the partnership at a ceremony on Monday, UniSIM president Professor Cheong Hee Kiat said the degree programme is not intended to 'lure' people away from the industry but rather, provide good opportunity for upgrading of skills and capabilities.

It is estimated that the aerospace industry will need about 1,500 new people every year in a field that is growing double-digit every year.

But polytechnics, universities and other aviation training schools here are churning out just 1,350 aerospace graduates a year.
