Pro:

well fitting

dedicated tank bag clip

protect ur tank against scatches n some padding

wont burn ur thighs as much as metal if left in da sun

 

con:

hassle of maintenace n during bike washing

a bit expensive hence a target for theft

 

LAB's

Pro:

Cheap

Still protect ur tank against scratches

 

Con:

Some say doesnt fit tank well

LAB's late shipment to replenish stock

thickness of material/quality of stitching (unknown)

Keep looking at the tank bra and you wouldn't know what they are talking about...

 

The clip has a notch, and what everyone is suggesting here is to fill the notch up with something so that it wouldn't drop from the elastic band...

 

The 2 front left and right clips is most easy to take out, maybe you should take out and you'll know what they are trying to say...

I have removed the clips for the time being as I have not done the necessary safe guarding action to it.

Can anyone share the diff between the bra bought from LAB & MW ? I realize that the price was so much diff. Would appreciate if pic added. ! I would also like to buy if any of you are selling yours. Thanks.

Cheaper alternative from bagster.... OKADO.... not fitting and not good as bagster... but the price is 50 dollars at LAB.. purpose is the same protect the tank... btw okado tank bra when u buy quite loose after sometimes it thigthen up and fit the tank nicely

sold tat bra liao. doesnt quite fit my spec III, but my fren de spec II fits well.

diff between em. LAb de stiching not quite gd. oso texture like not beri gd. bagster de stitch better n texture oso. as in e wings part nv stitch closer 2 e so called leather.

I always wanted to put a tank bra that i bought one but end up selling away.. Main reason: I wax wax my tank until so shiny shiny put many many effort.. Then wanna put tankBra like think twice.. Cos shiny nice mah.. Hehe

haha...understand how you felt... everytime after washing, polish until very smooth and shiny, a bit hesistant to put back the tank bra....

But I think the tank bra is a good investment lah... now 1 year plus, my tank still showroom condition~!

 

But like wat my fren said....showroom condition only I know...cuz I use tankbra to coverup, no one will see...

hi,new s4 rider....juz wondering...do i,in any way, need to fully take out the fuel tank to install the tank bra?..or i just put the tank bra on and tighten the sides.....hehehe..new rider...also wants to get a tank bra....can someone briefly explain how to put on the tank bra??thnx....

i agree with tat. that's y till now, i didn't have a tank bra. wax till so nice n smooth, go cover it, like wasted leh. still feel that tankbra is for those who dun wash bike often yet can get a protection over the tank.

the tank bra protects the paint of the tank and maintains that showroom shine ... i always make sure i cover my tank up after i "shower" my bike ....lolz ...

 

the tank bra from bagster is good in that sense that it has 2 clips in the front that can be used to clip on the the D ring of any tank bags and secure it to the tank ..

 

maintenance wise, u dun have to worry ...jus clean it with leather cleaner and it'll look nice ..........and the other thing is that it gives ur s4 a rugged look as well ...

 

protection wise, definitely it's a gd choice . imagine ur key pouch or bags or key hittingagainst ur tank and causing scratches and all that ..with a tank bra, there's no worries at all ....

 

it's a worth it investment!!
