i dun tink so..

i heard tat 1 or 2 of the straps are tied under the tank.

so have to cut that straps to steal.

but once cut, can't be used already.

The straps that can't be undone is under the tank and very very difficult to cut oso..

 

Missed waxing ur bike?.. try taking out the bra then polish your tank lor.. Then put the bra back.. and your tank will still be shiny and waxxy even after a month or two...

 

I use leather polish oso.. Carefully RUB the liquid round and round caressing the bra... then clean off and you are left with the smooth and touchy feel.... YEAH BABY!! :smile:

Yeah, thats the way! Sometimes I remove the bra and wax the tank too... maybe once in a month... and yes, there are plain black bras....

afer removing the tank bra, does anyone witness any rust on their tank? Perhaps remove once every year?

Once I heard from a fellow rider that your tank are prone to rust if you put on bra. Epecially near straps n hooks. Can anyone with tank bras check and clarify?

And another to add on, the under side of the tank bra tend to hv mold,is it true?

there's no price difference between plain black or the one with wings.

where ever u buy, it's still motorworld's bagster bra. all shops take from them. but prices from shops other than motorworld tends to be better.

 

can't leave the bra on for months continuous. once in a while (maybe every other week) need to remove it to sun/air. or do what most other riders do, remove it while waxing the bike every month. if it rusts, it means: 1. water have accumulated somewhere 2. rider is damn lazy and not maintaining the bike.

 

like any other parts of the bike, as long as u maintain it. it's ok.

is the tank bra waterproof by the way? If like this, removing can be quite a hassle.

Bra doesnt really absorbs water...

The outside leather should be waterproof, but not the inner side which is abit sponge material. water will slip in through the fuel cap area.

 

Rust, havent heard of it before, but i seriously don't think so unless your paintwork is not done properly or had a scratch.

I think I heard someone mention before, your plain black bra can actually take down and add on the wings design one. They have to cut the design out and sew it onto your bra.

 

Price wise and location to do, I not too sure.
