New site for local custom harley enthusiasts

Hey cool cruiser people,

 

The local Harley community used to have a good site (w w w . s i n g a p o r e h a r l e y . c o m) where we could exchange useful info about Harleys. Like where to find cheaper parts, who to look for particular custom work, etc.

 

Strangely, the site seems to have died. I'm now greeted with some ad about buying flowers??!!! From what I hear, the original site owner no longer rides a Harley and is too busy to run the site.

 

So I've come up with a quick site that can hopefully fill the void left behind by the former excellent one. The focus is on the Kustom Kulture bike scene in Singapore. And it's not just for custom Harleys, but custom bikes in general, ie custom bikes of any make and model. Unfortunately, I'm only familiar with Harleys so the site may seem to have a bias to such bikes but everyone's invited to contribute, regardless of bike type.

 

I'm just posting this to inform others who may be wondering what happens next, since our original site is no longer accessible. I hope I'm not stirring up any trouble by posting about another bike site in this forum. SgBikes.com is and shall always remain the premier Singaporean site for the general biker.

Thanks for the update on the missing site. I was looking for it this morning. When you've got it please post the URL so we can take a look. Hope to see buy and sell sections etc.

 

To those previously running the singaporebikes site. THANKS it was good while it lasted.

When I realised on Sunday night that w w w . s i n g a p o r e h a r l e y . c o m may not return, I quickly bought a new domain, then tried to setup a forum, and finally got it running (I think!) by 4am. I was quite a sleepyhead when I posted without the URL. Sorry!

 

This is my first time doing all this so I hope you folks don't encounter any problems with the site. Do let me know otherwise.

Not sure why you're having problems because others have been able to sign up, and post messages without any issues. Please try again, maybe from another computer.

Yeah works fine for me too.

 

Looks like it could be a good site once it gets moving covering both American and Metric cruisers.

Not another computer, but another network worked fine. Musthave been a super-duper security something
