i got my cheetah alarm @ sim lim tower

think cost about $50plus, and own installation

very sensitive alarm orhh.. some guys here can vouch for it :D

Hey, I also installed the Cheetah alarm on my Ver S.

But dun think it's very sensitive. The sensitivity is already tuned to the max, and the alarm is placed below the seat. And I really got to whack the seat real hard for it to activate. Shaking of bike, no effect.

I suppose u also placed the alarm below the seat? I didn't screw the alarm onto the bike though, just place it there.

The proble with S4 is the worry of getting the suspension, and now the brake calipers stolen. Damn pricks.

u mention tt e installation involve 5 wires...

1. +ve of battery

2. -ve of battery

3. left signal

4. right signal

5. ignition or any point that give a positive when u on ur bike eg head light or brake light

so e above conection can apply to all 3 type of alarm u mention earlier on?

or jus for cheetah alarm  coz thinking of installing cheetah type.

n cheetah alarm gt how many type heard got more than one isit

any brother/sis pls clear my doubt...

yes wat i mention applies to all the alarm in the market. any other extra wire is accessories. not a must for the alarm to work

my spec1 , installed with 2 way remote alarm system from China. type 3 wan MO from FatBiker. very good lei so far but haven test the level of sensitivity yet... probs this saturday will... the other functions like remote ignitiion , pager, sound very loud oso sharp lei( i simply like the sound sia ) and battery oso no drain out wan so far lei....

:gun: see the MO section under alarms from FatBiker for my recommendations.

p.s. its not that i recommend to fit or promoting the above alarm... the alarm works for me but might not work for you.... :sorry:

the new acumen 3 alarm is very sensitive.

Also have 50s auto arm feature which sometimes I found it abit hassle. ie. waiting at cause way, getting my stuff from the box.

With great Power, comes great responsibility.

i placed the sensor at the sideboard, near the coolent reservoir

juz a slight touch to the signal / tail etc will trigger the alarm

14feb2007 till now -- fz1000s
