i think something to do with the temp of the bike tat cause this.. cos usually when my bike is cold, can start without throttle. only when hot engine must throttle a bit to start.. and i think shd b normal.. riding my 2nd vtec1. both got this "prob". dun think its a prob ba..

under the fuel tank???

the knob is below ur carprator my specII is black colour. I think clockwise is have higher iding, and other ways is less. Ur hand must go right in then can ajust so wait till engine cool then adjust is better. If not morning then doing when starting. :thumb:

i too encounter tis problem... mechanic say maybe timing chain loose already  but i try using some additives(similar to stp octane booster) & the sound gone le :cheer: dunnoe izzit a coincidence :giddy: now in a dilemma whether to change the timing chain because not confirm the chain's fault.

tuning ur idling speed have to b done when ur engine is warmed up best is after u have ride the bike for some dist liaoz....

like that then u can accurately set the idling that u wan.....
