I agree with the person who said that scooter needs more skill in terms of handling because of the small wheels and wind effect (I have ridden few scooters and now I have a bike). But I guess the majority of schooter riding people are not speed freak kind, that explains the less number of scooter accidents that I see on the roads than the bikes. Just my openion! Ride safetly!!

Well owning a car in SPore is really kinda expensive n somehow if ur driving a cheap car which u can afford some of ur colleauges, working partners or gers u know may give u a o_O kinda look...having a nice big bike as a tourer or a weekend racer is fun but using it for work purpose is kinda funny n so this is wher a gd spacy maxi scoot come into the pic....It some of u work in the CBD area u can actually some dress up in office wear be it man or woman zipping ard in a maxi scoot :thumb:

few weeks back, i was driving around and i swear i saw at least 20 scooters. many of which are green scooters rode by uncles.

it left me wondering, is there scooter sales somewhere that i've missed?

lol :p

and 2 weeks ago, i went LAB, i saw this bike that look like a mini super4, but i'm sure it's a gilera or something...dunno how that guy mod. damn nice... thumbs up for him.

i agree scooters are getting more and more "in".

no doubt about it.

Hi Zandon, any chance that the Gilera u saw was the DNA 180? Its Gilera's attempt at merging a scooter engine with a motorcycle-style chassis. It's unique looks r factory-designed. Turned out rather nice, though quite rare in SG, relatively speaking. :thumb:

i used to ride a phantom...& i thought it was a comfortable ride...

but over longer distances...my girlfriend always complain that her butt is aching cos the seat is so small!

so i went for an X9, the bike that i wanted to buy (when i was considering between phantom & X9) but had financial constriants...

& boy am i darn happy with my X9 now...

as for the squeezing....i dont really agree with it being easy to squeeze cos its not. the mirrors are very protruding...

but i doubt there will be a more comfortable 2B ride than the X9...big storage space, lots of information meters ( tachometer, speedometer, 2 trip meters, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, clock, engine temperature gauge, mean & max speed)...beat that!

and i also have a car charger...
