Hey guys, wonder if this thread has been repeated. Like the title says, i m socuting around for the best Halal makan places. Doesnt matter any cuisine, distance.

Why dont we state the places of the makan places?

Post pics of the makan?

Hope this will be useful to all

For Western food and steaks, I recommend the western food stall at Pelangi food court in City Plaza. Another place I would recommend would be Mad Jack's Cafe located at Jalan Kayu... :thumb:

First learn stand, then learn fly. Nature's rules biker-sans. Not mine...

if u want gd satay, nt tad expensive since moz places have raised up to 50c..

head dwn to Kallang or Jalan Besar area(the market near the industrial area)..

Hj Morsode Satay, 35c/piece bro..

tastes gd..

disadvantage is that, there is not much variety of halal stalls there.

only the standard mama shop, drink shop and the malay stall..

I just went to Mak's Place along Changi Road nearing midnight yesterday. The black pepper steak is not bad. At $7.90, it tastes good and value for money... :thumb:

How on earth could u recommend this place? It's one of the worst place i've ever been.

I suggest Chai Chee Seafood for its seafood, Mak's Place if u wanna be seen by ppl around ur age. ECP StingRay for its nice boiled cockles.

Care to share the bad experiences that you all encounter at Mad Jacks?

I've been to the Jln Kayu outlet once before. Foodwise, quite tasty. Service wise, quite lacking with my table not enough fork and no serviettes at all....

Apart from the service issue....the food was good.

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB
