Anyway, more recommendation. For mutton chop, can go to Alexandra village. There's only one Indian shop there among SO many chinese stalls. Try it. The serving is superb and it's absolutely delicious. Price is the same as all other Indian shop.

Botak jones has never been halal before. But I think they do put a "No Pork No Lard" sign outside hoping muslim customers will come too. By the way, saw the sign at the one at Depot Road.

Some food establishments are really ignorant on the concept of 'halal'. Sad to say, some Malays are either ignorant as well or they choose not to be strict on the 'halal' concept. As long as the food is not pork or cooked in lard, they eat. I've seen some secondary Malay students happily eating away the food from the western stall at the coffeeshop near my place. This stall does have the sign 'No pork, no lard'... :faint:

Mutton soup... Yum... The old geylang market used to have this mute and deaf indian man selling it. Dunnoe if he moved to the temporary market. Can give it a try. The temporary market also serves other so many great food as well... I don't dare to go there. Can go crazy over the food. :giddy:

To some of them, once they recites "Bismillah" means the food halal already. But seriously, good halal food is really difficult to find nowadays.

Anyone tried the food at Popeyes before? It is a fast food restaurant located at Changi Airport's Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The whipped potato with gravy is simply delicious... :slurp:

Ermm.. I supposed that's how it is served? First they take some Mutton from a plate and then cut it up with a scissors, put it on a bowl then pour the soup in it and then served it with bread. Maybe the mutton you got wasn't fresh and was left there for a while and all the juice from the mutton been sucked off by the flies. Yucks. :puke:I feel for you, bro... :pity:

need to find a place for a gathering and 1 of my fren is muslim. i know only seoul garden but expensive and not nice. tinking of gng elsewhere

The kambeng soup shop by the name of "Mamut" at the Bedok Corner Hawker Centre was excellent but he has moved. Anyone know where he has moved to ?

 

The other kambeng soup stall there is also not too bad.

Kambing soup is nice and delicious when eaten hot with french loaf. However every time I have kambing soup, after I finished eating, confirm will have headache. So can only eat it once in a blue moon... :(

Funny. Same thing happens to me. If I'm not mistaken,

it must be the soup. Msg maybe. What I do now is that

I do not finish all the soup. No headache.hehehe
