hi there.. you're allowed to take it after 1 year.

procedures? hmm.. fast and sleep on the floor. always be honest and think about the good stuff. Fast as in veg. food only. whenever you feel like doing some bad stuff which includes alcohol , listen to some divine songs and rest your mind. well thats all i know. any want to add on?

most important is ur devotion and clear state of mind, IMO

a fast is required for min 21days

during this fast try to give up one of ur fav things which include in ur dailylife style

example if u like to drink Pepsi everyday in ur diet avoid it during the fast.

maintain a clean veg diet.

the most important is to constanly bring ur mind and attention to the deity which u r a seeking for blessing. trust me is not easy u will always lose ur focus but like football when u lose the ball u try to recover back the ball, something like that.

try not to involve in any activities which may risk u in getting injured as if there is open scar (bleeding) ur fast is terminated...
