K & N Air Filter for Dragstar 400

Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone can help - I am looking to replace my original air filter for my Dragstar 400 with a K & N one, but have problems finding one, anyone knows where I can get one and how much? So far I know the K & N for a Dragstar 600 is the same, so I can use that one. Thanks

You must have mean Dragstar 650. I doubt you could find any on the shelf but in any case you are looking to order one, you could do so at most motorshop such as i.e. Mah Motorparts, Motorworld, BikeTech21 etc.

hi bro,

will u be changing yur jets and pipes as well? increasing the airflow without upgrading these 2 other components serves no purpose. if u are looking at performance gains, i doubt there will be any if u leave the jets and pipes stock. if thats the case, then its more cost efficient to get back the original filters.

 

however... if u gonna change the jets and pipes... let me know... got another mod which can bring u the same if not more power and less constly i believe compared to getting that K&N air filter.

Thanks, I am just looking to change the air filter cause the original is about time to change already....changing the jets and pipes sound very tempting....but I am an old man already lah....80 km/hr is fine by me to get from point A to B : ). Anyway care to share what mod is that? I am open to hear it

Go to EverSuccess at Lembu Rd. THe road in.between Desker Rd and Mustafa Centre. On their shelf got a lot of K&N filter boxes. Ask them if they still have for Dragstar400. I bought mine there abt 4 yrs ago. And still using it. If have, dun forget to buy the K&N filter recharger kit. FYI I boght the filter at 90bucks whilethe recharger kit at 50bucks.
