I'm a newb here and need your advice! Which bike is the most fuel efficient + maintanence free??

I understand this depends on how much you travel with your bike. From a mileage point of view, which bike do you think is most worthwhile?

I gather that the wave is one such bike. Is the Honda TA150/200 good in this sense??

from what i heard, CG125 is one such bike.

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

There is only one best mechanic for your bike...YOU

i think maintanence is depend on yourself.. see how you wan to take care of your ride.. the more you use and the less you maintain maybe the more problem your bike will give you...

Honda Kup C70 like the C50, they fed the bike used cooking oil (As EO)

Ride it, it survived, then they threw it down a 6 storey building, its still able to start.

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

In what sense does RXZ belong here? No offense but i own an RXZ and i wish to know more about its maintenance. I'm a newb too =)

Posted

an rxz's cost of maintainance is all up to its rider- 1)whether u want it as an economical transport bike or 2) juice it for performance..

those rxz ahpeks/pakciks probably don't put bike maintainance on their to-do list yet their bike deserves a ribbon for long service.

that's the beauty of rxz. it'll take care of you for life.

kinda like one-sided love.

I've read thru the entire thread for bajaj pulsar.. I was initially thrilled by the 'economical' concept, but reading further, I saw a handful of pulsar bikers facing problems. I'd really love to get the pulsar, but in view of the potential problems (neutral slippage.. digi meter prob.. ), I'm reconsidering.

In the long run although you save on fuel and mini-maintanence, the potential bike problems + repairs may or may not eat up the overall fuel savings. Might as well get jap makes which r less problematic. This is of cos not to say that the pulsar is problematic or jap makes r better. Sometimes itz just heng sway..

Besides the wave and cubs, you guys know of another other bikes that are known to be economical? Any jap made models? How much is an OTR 1st hand and ASP for OTR 2nd hand (abt 3 yrs old) RXZ???
