Anyways, green kawa today is really pretty fast, and so far from the way he overtook me, he did not do it recklessly. Safely for sure.....not his fault at all. I enjoyed today's track because everyone overtook me safely.>>Now this sounds like overtaking.

Maybe you are a good rider on track, that's why you very cool about that.

 

But true to what the green kawa said, they are all over the track with their lines.... I also just follow behind them.

 

I'm slow, so overtaking someone is not gonna make any diff to me. I'm just there to spend time, chitchat with frens.

NO sir, I dun really consider myself good. Just that I probably have had a little more practice.

 

We probably look at things differently that's all. I'm not sure about you, but my first track session was a track day about 2 yrs ago on my stock CBR400. It was a real learning experience 'coz I was attacked left-right-center-front-behind. Even kana horn!

 

At first I was scared but everyone around told me that it was normal so I took it in my stride and halfway thru the track day I was already lapping way in front of my friend who brought me there. Since then I'd been practicing real hard

 

So this is probably why I'm cool about being overtaken from anywhere anyhow.

perhaps LTA shd install some barriers like wat they did over the wkend to prevent ppl fr walking all over the plc and jaywalking.

I want to thank the SFK plate Suzuki Ignis for letting me cut into it's lane when I needed to avoid merging traffic. If only there are more drivers like you on the road, we riders will live longer.

Talk about jaywalkers....A few years back my friend was leisurely (read: slowly) riding his Vespa when suddenly from behind a car from the opposite lane an old lady (obviously both can't see each other) dashed across and went straight into him.

 

The woman, in a daze, thought my friend had banged her. She went to the police to make a report saying that he had banged her. And then her children wanted to sue him. To make matters worse, when it became a police case, the police sided with the lady's story; immediately brushing off my friend's claim as nonsense even as he tried to at least convince them that she's a jaywalker. To-date I still have the impression that the police are always biased (especially with the women's charter thing).

 

My n my friends were all puzled by this episode. The lady was lucky to be alive as my friend was not speeding and managed to jam the brakes, although there was no way to avoid her as she was coming into him. Besides, his shiny Vespa also had to be repaired and this incurred costs, but he never thought of any compensation.

 

In the end my friend paid the lady's family some cash. I scolded him when he did that but then he said he just wanted to get over it as it caused him so much trauma. That being his first ever crash as a P-Plate 2b rider, I'd understand why So I told my friend that it's ok then, today's not your day. Perhaps tomorrow might not be her day and she runs into a car the same way; who knows?

 

So never ever hit a jaywalker at all costs, coz they're considered as 'pedestrians' to some. Especially if you're riding a bike.

juz now car must hv been tailgating me cos i ebrake at traffic and i was in the ctr of the lane and he had to swerve to the next lane to avoid kissing my rear and while doing so he clipped my mirror and chiong traffic light.

 

saw 4 police vans on the expway earlier and each time when i see these police vehicles, traffic's always v 'obedient'

6.45am On CTE heading towards town in the heavy peak hour traffic. Saw a TP WRX on top of braddell flyover with lights switched on. went nearer and guess what? saw the policeman standing there pointing the laser speed camera at the traffic! and the traffic was moving at like only 30-40km/h?The LCD display at the rear says "Ops In Progress" ! Nvm, carried on my journey and at the moulmein flyover, another WRX with the same thing! WTF?!

Just now went to run-in engine along ECP/AYE at lane 4, so far so good nobody tailgate me

 

But I ocasionally hit around 4500 rpm, hope my engine is okay cause recommended run-in is max 4000rpm

wah lucky i kick the habit of speeding... OH yah.. nowadays.. cisco, Tp.. all damn garang... i keep seeing cisco walkin around shenton way there... alot of TP here and there.. i wunder whats the happening stuff man.. nobody buy parking coupons ah....
