i hate it wen people wanna share lane wit me.. even motorcycles which wanna share lane.. feel like im doin my narrow plank again.. u sae u have a basket.. u ride a cub.. one thing about cub is that its horn is very soft.. wen u horn, the driver would not be able to hear it as they are enclosed in the ven.. but lucky for u the driver behind hekped u.

eh... he heard me lor~ coz he turned and saw me from his passenger side window wor..........

 

mebbe he thinks i can ride on the road shoulder~ but.... on the rochor bridge, the road shoulder's beside lane 1 leh~!~!~!

i also have a similar experience.. i was otw to changi general hospital wit my twin brother. i pillion him.. he had to go for a checkup as he just had an accident.. while i was on the left lane.. this toyota corolla tried to come in my lane from the right.. i noe my twin was scared as he had just had an accident. so i horned him damn long.. he still come in slowly like expecting me to give way to him.. wat i did next was i shouted at him like hell.. i guess he heard me cos he swerved back violently.. but wat frighten him was wat i shouted.. i shouted ''OI!! SIAM AR!!'' . so if everyting else fails.. use ur voice.. cos i have been gifted with a very loud voice.. and irritating.. wahaha

sian sia.. early morning i was fetching my gf to work in the CBD area.. i was on ECP lane 4.. and there comes this bloody Nissan 350Z white color plate SFC 1411* keep weaving in and out.. traffic was quite heavy... and he keep on cutting into my lane and i ride in the middle of the lane and he drive onto SH and cuts into my lane again... young chap with his gf... dunno wad he thinking.. bloody hell.. if i were in my uniform, i sure stop and summon him!

this morning while going to camp... this car stop beside me at a cross junction... after exiting expressway at turf club... failing to 'out-accelerate' me as i was the first vehicle in line at the traffic light... he started drive very closely to me... not really tailgating but not too far away either... frankly i was feeling a bit scared... cos quite near...

 

then along kranji road... there was this red light junction,(anyways... its a very small red light junction with 2 lane, 1 to and 1 fro), that stops the traffic flow whenever the train approaches... upon approaching the junction, as it was red, i was preparing to stop even thou there were no trains and no cars...

 

as i was abt to stop, the car behind me started to flash his/her headlights... i thou for a while... maybe this guy or gal got a urgent matter to attend to. so i decided to let him/her overtake, but i ran out of road ahead already...less then 5 meters ahead railway track liao and i was at the middle of the lane, so car cannot sqeeze pass... and seeing there were no cars, i decided to pass thru.

 

after passing i kept left, wanting to let him/her overtake me....

 

and guess wat?? the guy stopped!!! i mean since u want to stop at the small traffic light junction... why flash ur head lights at me?? force me to run red light... also 'race' with me at the previous junction also no meaning... wat for?? and i sincerely thou that u got something urgent... haiz...

 

i drive too but i dun flash my head lights for no reason... and i dun 'race' with bikes... really weird driver...

 

anyone has similar encounters?

i usually travel on leftmost lane on expressway...sometimes cut to lane 2 to overtake lorries

even like that also will kena car flash headlight simply cause they are lazy to change to 1st lane to overtake me

u can just take his plate and send tp an email.. u can just stop him and show ur warrant card rite

maybe they are tellling u to hurry cos they want to chiong also but when u cross.. too late aredy.. wen a car tailgates me. i will just taop my brake.. if they dun wan.. MAYBE i will jambrake and since im going at a slow speed.. he bang me.. not much injuries.. wahaha... but if he bang u.. its for the good of all the bikers community as he wun dare to do it agn after the rider he bang sue him till he must sell the car..

last nite on the way home via PIE... while entering the bedok turn-in, a car juz chie past me very close~ vroomed it's way in and then suddenly brake VERY HARD (nasty screeching and stuffs).... then when i was catching up to it during turning, it kept like "wanna/don't wanna cut into my lane" that type, the rear brake lights flashing on and off~~~

 

abit absurd rite... i was travellilng slowly leh~~~

did u honk at him?? i always kena this rider.. at bedok north exit.. smoemore the corner very deep.. wrong mistake by him equals to ur life.. another place is at the kallang bahru exit toward pie jurong.. taxi and other cars and buses will always be in the middle..wanna be like bike.. can gi in the middle.. wahaha.. scary lar drivers like tis.. wanna overtake he can sae u cut his lane..

Drivers like that la..They think they big we must always give way..Just now at PIE..Got box on the road..I try to swerve but the car beside me still want to maintain same speed..I bo pian have to band the box..Get to swerve a bit la..So hiy the side only..Lucky never buang..Was getting ready to buang..Ahaha..They think their headlight so powderful they flash her flash there..If flash wrong person..Short temper one..Smash their headlites then they know..Ahaha..

 

Next time let it overtake you then you flash back..high beam! High beam!

nope, i think it better to go with the road limit, let them high beam dun care, if they start to horn, on ur hazel light and cluthe in all the way, then slowly stop.

I won't beat the red light just for him/her.

oh... dun get me wrong... the red light is very small... ppl who commute there will understand which traffic light i'm refering to.

 

i did think thru if i shld let him overtake and noe that running the red light is wrong. but i also thou abt the possibility that this person maybe rushing to see someone... for a urgent matter. cos he kept flashing and flashing... not like the normal high beam then low beam...

 

moreover there were no cars... so i rode thru... and i did move to the left and turn back to look... to let him overtake... but he didn't...

Yesterday, almost got killed at Napier Road heading towards Holland Road. Taxi, a few cars in front, slammed brakes to turn into Gleneagles Hospital. I barely missed a close multi-vehicle pile up by countersteering to the next lane.

 

Manage to turn into Empress Road to go home when of all people, a blind man walked on the road! I overtook him and parked my bike further up so that I can go back and safely guide him back on the pavement. Some other motorist too, saw what happen and guide him back before I did!

You shd take a look at the plate no of the car mah...mayb tat fella just bought the

 

car then 1st day driving and dun noe wat button is that so he keep pressing to see

I have more trouble with taxis slowly eating into my lane trying to push me aside. I can encounter 2-3 times a day sometimes. Usually I take their license plate and feedback to their company. i dun mind if they signal their intention. however most of them signal while they are almost complete in lane cutting...

was turning into my carpark and i was behind this p plate driving some freaking big MPV. bike was almost stalling waiting for the joker to turn into the driveway and carpark over just a slight hump! the moment there was a gap, i blasted my way through.... simply too tired from a long day at work to be patient anymore.

I miss my bikes..... I miss messing around with all the crazy drivers in Singapore.

 

Wanna get a bike soon but have to undergo their defensive riding courses (again) before I can get their licence. Saw a secondhand 2006 DRZ400SM going for US$6000.

 

Got track days here too, but US109 for a half day session!!!

 

Boy do I miss PG. Arrrghhhhh!!!

in us you can easily get a licence?? in singapore a foreigner cannot get a licence unless he or she is a pr rite??
