The road along Ngee Ann Poly still jams like hell every morning!

i think alot pp dont bother signaling at all . . although i still do, hoping far back cars to slow down or grip some attention. hee but its really funny to see how some cars accelerate to close the gap when i on signal and wanna go in their lane, so i just wait for them to pass after me

 

i think recently alot of bus when coming out of bus stop, dont like to give way, or didnt see me at a. the other day one just turn come out when i was heading straight and already somewhere near the emergency door exit. lucky already spotted the bus earlier, prepare to slow see stun liao, if not think i might smash or swerve to outer lane

 

 

And when they do, they expect a gap to magically appear.... ....

Today. Riding my rickety 9.5 yr old Phantom.

 

Nearly ate the ass-end of an MPV who suddenly jammed brake at a filter lane into the PIE. Clear road ahead in front of him. I braked hard, then realized that the sh1tty tyres weren't gonna hold just about half a car length from his beautiful butt, and swerved past him driver side with less than a meter to spare. Nearly took out his wing mirror too. Damned lucky I was orientated more to the right side.

 

Now... why did he brake suddenly?

 

Oh yeah... there was this Bangla who suddenly dashed out from nowhere and ran across the zebra crossing without so much as even a look or pause. I know this is true because I, myself blasted past the crossing IN FRONT of the Bangla after I ran past the car.

 

Wake up call.

 

Note to self: Next time... keep an eye on the pavement too as I'm approaching a filter lane zebra crossing... not just the cars in front.

Got home today from JB after a big big drenching...

 

The custom guards saw my through my wet white T-shirt, laughed and waved me on, without even having to take off my helmet.

What is happening ah?

 

Is it just me or is it really happening? I am seeing more and more drivers using their handphones while driving.

 

I thought there was a clampdown on this?

 

car drivers are getting more blatant and TP getting more lembik, what can we do?

 

Here are some more ridiculous offence on the rise which i hardly see any TP doing anything, so tired of writing them here oredi:

 

- dazzle your eyes super spotlight (i wonder how they pass the visual test if they cannot even see clearly in brightly lit Singapore?)

- stopping anywhere they like, especially CAR PARK ENTRANCE - basket ppl.

- u turn at any junction they like. i particularly hate turning right becos any **** tom and harry can just u-turn. some even u-turn while talking on mobile phone

- Bangla and china pests who think they can beat the red lights on foot or on bicycle, especially dashing across pedestrian crossing. oh, dun even statr mentioning how nasty were they WHILE riding on public walkways.

 

just for all to noe. once i was in a taxi (running company errand), the taxi driver changed lane without signal. so i asked: uncle, why dun signal? guess what he said. with a lazy tone, Mr Taxi Driver told me: car very near then signal, car not near, no need.

 

what about bikes? go figure.

last wk when riding towards a junction, a chinese woman riding her bicycle at a very leisure pace on the pedestrian crossing in my way despite the fact that it's green light on my favour. she made me close trottle, look at the traffic light again, tap on the brake, look at the pedestrian light, look at her, she look at me, she continue riding leisurely, i wanna scratch my head ( cant cos got helmet), i wonder i colour blind, or she colour blind, or traffic light got problem, BTT FTT RTT change trafffic light colour, she still heck care me..............................

no i like coming to work early to escape the jam cos i dun really like coming to work w a black face. waking up early is always a challenge even til now.

 

i can't but agree w you abt monday & thursday....for some reason e road seems more jam than the other days. i mentioned abt e same thing as well pages back....seems tat friday is e best (let's not include e wkends though)

so true..everytime i wanna turn into my carpark..der'll be a pedestrian crossing der n mind u my area is so full of dem coz der's a hostel for dem nearby..dey will leisurely cycle right thru a red man n 1 day i got pissed i stopped inches frm 1 of dem..lol..scared de sh!t out of him wif his fishball eyes..but im nt so bad lah..i still gave him a smile =D

When i was going to catch a movie at the cathay yest. I was travelling on dunearn road and encounter 7 TPs all at diff exits.. OMG!!! 1 of them was staring at me cos when i exit the tunnel i was travelling about 90+ but he let me go cos i riding cub kia.. -.-''

Were ridng on the way to JB last sat night, and were about to enter the last corner from SLE, this cubz(Singapore plate malay rider) cut thru my lane from behind squuezing thru beside me with a super low throw back side.....

 

Seriously, if i didnt notice him and just doing a normal corner, he migh just hit on me...or if i dont give myway to him(as its only 1 lane) what do you think will happen to him???

 

Sometimes....PLEASE....think before u do anything stupid....is it worth doing that kind of inconsiderate stunts??? If oyu wanted to play yr stuff, do it on the track and not on public road, be thoughtful.

Ha, tks for the "barricade" word.....I gave him way off course, didnt want to get charge by this idoit for murder....But still, this happen actually everywhere in Singapore, especially those i mention above. You can see it most of the time, a simple cross or turning junction, they will throw their self so low where they thought their on race track....

Today while riding, stopped at Shell to pump some air for my tyres. This China man driving a van didn't know how to pump his tyres, he was fiddling with it for a while and then managed to get it after asking me some questions

 

Saw a few sheets of metal or plastic on the ground, PIE to Jurong before Clementi Ave 6 exit, thank god I didn't tailgate and noticed it early to avoid it.
