well.. for me, it's not about the arrows or lights. was travelling along Woodlands Road at 2am in the morning!! stupid bugger staying at Jalan Rasuk too hungry for Mcdonalds i guess. anyway, was just travelling along the road when i saw flutterings of white birds or dove or goose or whatsover from the left corner of my left eye all the way to the right corner of my right eye. ears focused on my mp3 and eyes focused straight ahead. sometimes, it pays not to turn your head around.

Today while riding, bike see chia, cannot start

 

Push start, ride home, lift up the fuel tank, then multimeter spoil, cannot test the battery

 

Put the half fairings back, push into lot, then the bike drop on me

 

If i had 4 dynamites, i would shaft it into the 4 pipes and light it up

Today while riding saw 2 Kups crashed on the ECP on the way to Rocher.

In the middle of Bangkok city is a fantastic place to break down. I had a puncture near Bangkok city too, no problem finding a bike shop to borrow some rubber glue.

 

Breaking down in the middle of a dirt road 30km from the nearest town IS a problem.

Well.. it turned out to be a weak battery. So I guess its just a matter of when and where it happens. Perhaps a volt meter might have help me detect weakening batt, rather than wait till it cannot crank.

all uneventful until on the way back i kinda spaced out... took the wrong turn - 1 turn too early so instead of going onto Gambas back to Yishun i ended up going on the BKE - Mandai... then Yishun...

 

Haiz... dun go to work still have to go Mandai - BKE... hahaha

today while riding at work, i rode at between 30km/hr to 50km/hr. because they decided to enforce strictly the 1 order per trip thingy. so all of us rode as slow as possible to jam the orders. i think i'm gonna stretch my mileage more this time around.

we r rly at the losing end.y?coz we r small n we r protectin the metal instead of the other way rnd.aft exiting cte tunnel.i was on 3rd lane wanna chg to 2nd.i check den signal n proceeded to chg den i saw dis cab frm 1st lane kip gettin nearer n nearer 2 my side.dis 1 confirm wanna chg lane oso but din even bother signalling.in de end i move back 2 my own lane n let the bugger switch lane 1st.haish.

 

den when wanna reach sch.single lane rd.bmw bugger frm bhind overtook me.mebe coz im half a car length frm de car infrnt den he nt satisfied mus close de gap.nvm let him.den gt pedestrian crossing so i squeezed at the side all de way 2 de frnt.feels like turnin arnd n wavin at the bugger.den he go horn at the cars infrnt for stopping

hot and cold air psi got diff? coz hot air supposedly take more space. so if u pump in hot air, ltr when at night the tire will "lose" pressure coz the hot air cooled?

llstb la. no choice. crew listen to manager. manager listen to big boss. cos supposedly if rider only sent 1 order per trip, they can maintain the freshness of the food. so, that will only means that the food will stay fresh for only 15 mins. 25 mins onwards, it'll not taste good. let's just say would you rather wait very much longer for the food to be slightly fresher? but riding at 30-50, isn't that what the LTA wants? since normal roads' speed limit is just 50km/hr. hahaha... but then again, that'll just means gear 1 until 3 only.

when you say measurements, what exactly are they doing?

 

The police taking measurements distance of one bike from another, and looking for any skid marks to try to determine what/who caused the accident.

 

 

today saw 2 accidents on the ecp.

first one is when i going up the flyover just before KTM. saw a kup or wave on the ground with ambulance beside and a eurovan in front. seems like the rider and pillion are ok.

 

2nd on is after shears bridge, towards aye direction. didnt really catch wad happened but traffic jammed all the way till marine parade.

 

hopefully no serious injuries for those involved

wahaha, got car rd hog at lane 1 expressway driven by an auntie, i so dulan that i overtake her n rd hog in front of her, wahaha, really makes me snap my mind tat time, then she change lane, i continue to ride in front of her till she dulan also n overtake me n look angrily at me, wahaha, i see liao even more dulan n i overtake her and disappear, wahaha.

 

moral of story:

1. dun ever do stupid things i did.

2. drivers or riders dun ever rd hog, lane 1 is always for overtaking vehicles unless the whole rd is jam.

I don't quite understand what u mean by "stabalizing the tyre pressure overnight". Do you mean allowing the tyre to cool down overnight, and then releasing excess air with a tyre pressure gauge in the morning?

 

An excess of 10 psi is a lot. If u pumped ur tyres after riding hard on the street, at most it would reduce by 1 or 2 psi when cooled. That still leaves u with a pretty large excess after "stabalizing overnight".

 

Am I missing something?

Today, while riding almost run over by a yellow hyundai sonata cab, best part is i am not even in-between lane squeezing.

 

at Clementi road, at the junction where the MRT Line cross it going towards Ngee Ann Poly & Maju Camp from AYE.

 

am in middle lane, while the taxi coming up from right lane with his front bumper next 2 me, just out of my side view, he was trying to change lane after the light into middle lane but the problem is i was still in the middle of the middle lane, dunno what he is thinking but if i nvr siam him (i can see his front bumper getting closer) i would be knocked down, lucky left lane no vehicle else i'm sure now wont be here typing to this.
