I would put my left foot on his engine bonnet, see he dare to come any nearer!

Do not put the foot on the side of the car, he can say you were kicking his car.

 

 

Today while on the way home from my JB petrol run, saw a cute girl on an even cuter Hello Kitty scooter, looks like a fino, with lots of extra chromed head lights in front, and a white Hello Kitty head-shaped Cushion or box behind it.

i think i would just give some light knocks with my hands on the side of the car. come closer some more i just treat a very hard punch to the side then run off (always pays off to have knuckled gloves). heard jags have very thin doors

 

heard of stories from frens where they take out their lighters flung it very hard on the bonnet or windscreen. usually resulting in a small spark (or explosion) upon impact. lucky ones suffer from a rude shock, unlucky ones ends up with a dent on their bonnet or a cracked windscreen lol

heres one more funny incident of tailgating

 

encountered sth like Shin while travelling 1st lane..(yah, i got a slow bike but i dun road hog..)

traffic was relatively smooth despite the morning rush, riding about 70-80km/h 1-2 sec behind a long chain of cars..lanes 2 and 3 also were quite packed as well.

 

i watched this blue cab tailgating me suddenly lane split when a gap in lane 2 appeared..

he then accelerated abt 2 m (and predictably)..inched inexorably into my path from the side

..only to stop just behind the next car..rofl..

 

haiyo..why sia? doing that seems abit silly to me..

suddenly this yellow honda fit fitted with a huge black spoiler on lane 3 swerves in front of him then squeezes into lane 1.

just grinned when i saw it..

 

makes me respect and appreciate this mitsubishi driver, so guai..

drive a big car but didnt use it to bully other road users..

..then again, i appreciate drivers who bother to signal

I drive Mitsubishi EX also like that, very gentleman one.

 

Must say that most Misubishi drivers are better than Mercs and BMW drivers.

This is pretty much what happened to me back then but in my case it was on the upslope part of ECP heading to changi where u can see pan pac and suntec to your left.During peak hours where traffic is slow albeit still flowing at ard 40 kph

 

I wish i could have done something like putting my foot or even throwin my shoe(or an egg) at the guy , but he came FAST from my left pushing me towards the right concrete divider/barrier..

 

Next time im gonna install a video cam with a semi wide angle lense on the rear of my bike with a remote on switch !ROAR!

 

btw someone mentioned lane splitting , im the type of rider that WILL lane split when its sensible even if sensible means lane splitting at 90+kph

 

but otherwise though ill ride in the middle of the lane, i continuosly glance at my mirrors every 10 -30secs to give me lil updates on whats going on behind me .

 

if i see any vehicle coming in fastand if traffic conditions allow, ill check back to my left and give way to the wsbk or le mans racers coming up from behind me( happened before got two racers , 1 on a legacy another in a rally art that zoom past me then a min later got into an accident ^_^)

 

after that ill shift back to my lane n continue riding ard 5-10kph above the speed limit

 

but i wont lane split when the lanes are way to tightly spaced to together And there is a bend approaching , no matter how skilled a rider u are , riding between vehicles in such a situation where u have no escape routes means yur at the mercy of the average Singaporeans driving skills.. +_+

 

if the lanes are to tight to allow for the error avg singaporean driver require to negotiate even the simplest bend , then nope! i aint taking that risk!

 

that up hill portion of ECP its very tight ,during the peak hours means there really isnt much room to safely maneuver and the bikes that do lane split usually are at the left most lane on the road shoulder

 

i was riding an rvf at that time and in that condition its just a lil to wide to safely split thru traffic on the uphill during jam packed conditions

 

anyway 99.9% of the time in such terrible conditions where i cant lane split safely the kind drivers behind me keep a sensible distance ,

 

usually i move slightly to the left of my lane so they can see past me how pack it is infront

 

its all to easy to see that nothing they do will get them home any faster and soon enough ill find some space n ride off anyway

yup plastic lighters. if being thrown at the correct angle and strength, it can cause a deep scratch on paintwork.

 

dat is meant to be the last resort mah. the car didnt see u and wun budge to horning. and u got no place to run.

tonight while riding..it was freaking cold!

saw this poor cabbie about to fall aslp in the rainy weather..

every once in awhile the cab drifted from left to right and made the occasional jerk back into the centre of the lane..

think i spotted s4^dreamer along clementi .. checkered box on super 4 is just so striking. ahah

 

riding ever so "cautiously" in the heavy rain today. is it me or am i just not used to my own bike? i can handle honda wave better than i can handle my own bike. after two times of buang-ed on the road in wet weather, i could feel the phobia set in when i was riding just now. fuhh~

 

and drivers, PLEASEEE signal when you're turning right into a side road. nearly bang-ed into a car coz he didnt freaking turn on his signal and suddenly stop to wait fr traffic on the other side to clear so that he can turn right. TSK ~ it was raining summore. so many crazy things on the road today , but glad that im home safe and sound.

Couple of days ago while riding....

 

Riding my DR800 on PIE to Jurong Bird Park for Phantom F.I.F.O, I was on the rightmost lane waiting for a car in front of me signalling to change lane to the middle, when there was a taxi zooming in from behind. High beamed me. What he expect me to do? Go over the car? ??

 

Nevermind, I give him benefit of the doubt assume he was high beaming the car.

As soon as the car was 3/4 across the dotted white line I increase 1/4 throttle, zoom far far away until the cab was just a pin prick of light in the distance!

 

But then there was traffic infront, so the cab caught up. There was one JB kup infront on the white arrow so don't want to disturb him by zooming pass, slowly creep to overtake, again kena highbeam. Again 1/4 throttle zoom far far away once I pass the kup.

 

Wah piang this type of taxi driver.... ....

In front got traffic high beam people also no use mah.

 

Then at the 2nd link I full throttle, almost clear meter!

But then flooded my carb!

Luckily the rest of the PK helped to push start. Phew!

After identifying the problem, just drain off the excess fuel, and make sure off the fuel c0ck before stopping then let the engine run abit to clear excess fuel before turning the ignition off, no problem starting after that.

as i trottle a more sinc ethe exit is clear,

suddenly from chevron marker , a taxi jus emerge from there..

meaning it must have cut the lorries,cut through chevron , and into my lane ,

really manage to evade onli jus......

 

look behind me and see no car..

i think if kana knock , die also no one knows...
