just now while riding, dunno is it some driver wanna bully me or is it my bike need new fluorescent paintwork

but this black car came in very fast from the side, woooo-oo damn close!!

i put out my left hand can touch the driver's window..

zz didnt spot it until it entered my peripheral vision, cuz my riding jacket sleeve was partially blocking..

 

dunno how my fingers somehow found the horn and gave it one long push.. then he jerked abit and after a few sec overtook me..

he didnt seem drunk..falling aslp ah? my tail lights working what..

 

cant see what type of car it is, cuz the headlights too bright and it sure drove away pretty fast lol..

also, the rear lic number plate not lit..so nothing to post here..thanks mr driver for not making me into a smear/pancake otr

Today before riding, I was approached by the phantom van selling home theatre system.

 

Phantom van *pulls over beside me as I was about to leave*

Me "turns towards the van*

Phantom Van Lackey: Sorry ah. Home theatre system you want?

Me *put one hand out, palms facing the lackey, and then turn around and face my bike without saying anything*

Van driver *U-turns and looks for a tupid to buy.

 

Didn't know this van selling home theatre system scam is still in operation leh. Its been a year since I was last approached by them in a different car park. This is my 3rd encounter. I guess this time round they didn't get to the part of the script where they say its free. If only I buy 4D got so heng..

 

I bump into one before, initially I thought they asking for direction but no... they very "sticky" haiz...

Hmm... Had to flip the bird to a cab driver last night.

 

We were in the right lane of a 2 lane road. I was abt 2 car lengths behind when he saw a flagging fare at the last moment, and slammed on the brakes and swerved to the left lane without checking.

 

My initial reaction was to brake and move left to avoid kissing his ass... only to find that he also swerved left and was now nearly stationary at a 45 degrees angle across the road just to get the passenger. I had to control a locked rear wheel all the way to a stop just inches from his rear bumper.

 

Then proceed to ride around it, coming up next to the driver's window and gave him an extended blast of my horn plus flip him a long duration third finger while he just stared blankly at me.

The piece of metal that has been loose inside my exhaust pipe like since the birth of christ is really sounding like jingle bells as i rode over a series of bumpy and granite pebble filled roads today. mildly irritating....

I will be going on the DR BIG.

 

Today while riding, I almost skidded on the way into PIE from Toh Guan coming back from IMM. It was raining, coming to the Junction again ORANGE LIGHT! Check speed 50 km/hr, too late & dangerous to Ebrake! And at that speed, Dry can turn Wet cannot!!!! I braked hard, to slow down to corner. Rear brake again very good, immediately lock like last time! Can feel the rear not spinning, let go a bit of brake, ok, got some control, then press brake again, lock again. can feel the rear starting to give away, about to fishtail, and that's when I need to do the 90 degree turn.

 

Failure to turn = Slam into barrier at a perpendicular angle and fly over the railing down to the ground about 5 storey down... Scarey...

 

Fortunately, there were no cars besides me except 1 small white lorry some way back. (I had already out accelerated all the other cars.) The pros of riding a scrambler.

So I let go the brakes and did a wide turning, and got away with it. Phew!

Look into the mirror the 1 small white lorry chiong the ORange light also. Turtle must be red by the time he turned.

seriously careful on those knobs. i made the transition from scrambler on knobbies first bike to a few road going scooters. Till now, i still ride like im on a mountain bike everytime! the knobbies have given me too many close shaves and has made me allergic to wet roads and corners.
