why didn't you just park on the pavement beside Liat Towers? it's not under their jurisdictions. usually, that's where the despatch guys will park. unless your 'awhile' is not awhile.

Dun try la, that one time i really felt so fed up with a shopping centre coz it's gantry system cannot read my erp unit, i was so fed up that i wanted to just park outside, like "everybody else".

Luckily i went through the frustration, paid and parked inside nonetheless.

When i came out, i saw not 1, but 2 of them issuing summons to ALL the bike parked on the pavement. And what's the summon amount again?

Interesting start to my day.

Walking to my covered bike in the carpark, I noticed this aircon service van parked beside it in a slanted fashion and 2 guys unloading their equipment from it. And worse, they pushed my mirrors inwards.

When I arrived, I looked the van and 2 guys up and down, and gestured at my mirror as I uncovered the bike. The 2 bengs unloading their stuff from the van looked at me and my mirror (they pushed it up hard apparently judging by the way it looked) but gave me a "I don't give a sh1t look" before they trudged off with their equipment.

OK fine. Since I looked at you, you looked at me, and you didn't give a sh1t, I don't either.

I whacked one of their mirrors close. All the way in till I heard a crack from the hinge. Next, passenger side front tyre... I took the valve cap, threw it far away, and released air out of the tyre till it was semi deflated.

So go faark yourself, assholes. If you had simply said sorry for moving my mirrors, I would have let it pass.

:thumb: at least u never use ur butt in door technique.

was it ur hse car park????

Good point.

I did try it. Van is made of harder material than the newer milo tin cars. The dent couldn't stay in.

I was also thinking of using a key to give them some new horizontal racing stripes, but I was late for work already, and besides I didn't want to do any real damage. Fastest way was to slap the mirrors in, and let about 20 secs worth of air out.

If I had more time, maybe I would have flattened the tyre completely.

gd work there, sometimes u really feel like giving those buggers something they deserve.

but usually they already see my bike number plate, or know where i usually park etc..

and i guess in the end, we have just as much to lose, if they were to play the same game back to us.

Today while riding to school, at the junction into Lentor, I saw not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 drivers using HP turning at the one junction alone....

Seems like driving with HP is the norm, rather then a traffic offense....

I have a choice of 3 carparks to choose from near my block, so I'll park it somewhere else tonight.

im wondering if tp will take action against the offender if we catch them red-handed with our cameras and submit the evidence to tp? if they will take action, i will spur on to buy a camera and be a civilian vigilante taking video evidence of these irresponsible faggots... too many of them and most of them are getting away scot-free or too lightly...

ohh... i didn't know about that. cos i once temp for my sis's workplace for a few days as the despatch rider. the guy just told me to park there while i go around that few clinics around that 3 buildings. it's the one opposite wheelock's carpark. and during that few days, nothing happened to my bike. i guessed i was lucky then.

just put a bike cover and that's not enough? i doubt they will inspect all bikes that are covered even if they are bothered enough to come down. hahaha...

i doubt so. at most both of you will be summoned. one for using the hp and you for video caming others and not focusing on the road ahead.

and today, while i was riding, bike died on me as i was about to move off from the traffic light. the van behind me was kind enough not to horn at me. kickstarted it right back up and continued on. then it died on me again on the expressway. decided to just switch it to reserve. this time, it didn't die on me. went out of the expressway to pump petrol and was shocked when i topped up full tank at 6.5 litres! i had only travelled 67km so far and that's how much is gone. gosh! either someone is stealing from my keyless tank cap even though it's covered or much of the fuel, being on top of the hot radiator(is higher rate of evaporation possible?), evaporated out through the breathable tube attached to the tank cap.

lol i'm sure they someone stole your petrol via your carb rubber hose rather than by the gas cap. Scramblers and naked bikes are easy targets for such petty petrol thieves and due to the lack of a petrol gauge on a scram, you will run into such situations time and again. I always shake shake my bike before i start it up so i can gauge whether there is still enough petrol to make my trip.

now it makes me wonder,

to those bongtards that really made me hot with their uneccessary reckless actions, i will show thumbs down hand gesture.

to those bongtards who anyhow cut my lane w/o signalling i will raise my hand in a like "wtf" gesture.

to those hogging, lane straddling i will overtake, take a quick look at the driver and shake my head then continue riding.

do you think i might be inviting uneccessary trouble by comitting these non-criminal actions?

e.g: they note down my number plate, hunt my bike down and sabo my bike like kick it down, scratch it, or steal some things?

Was at Abboy Motor Racing this afternoon to swop out the rims on the DRZ that has been sold.

A young Beng came over from Lim Ah Boy workshop and asked my mechanic Boy Kallang if he could work on his bike. Boy was busy with my bike so he asked his partner Mun to entertain the Benglet.

P-plated KR150... and he wanted to put on a race exhaust.. the same expansion chamber kind that we use on the race Y125Z. Seems that he has a 'jackpot' race sometime this week night. Heard that the wager was $200.

His instructions to Mun was to put in the race pipe, remove the rear disc and caliper (:faint:) and remove the lower fairings to cut down the weight. (o_O)

Why didn't the MotoGP and WSBK teams think of such a brilliant way of weight savings? :thumb:

To each his own......but I sincerely hope he survives this week coz its really not worth losing your licence or your life just for $200.

Sorry had to quote myself to update this story.

And the story is... last Saturday morning at about 4 AM, this idiot benglet was rounded up by the TPs. He was waiting for his race at the PA carpark area at ECP when the police cars and bikes blocked the 2 entries into the carpark. Along with his other lacers, the whole lot got rounded up and the bikes impounded.

Looks like he is going to face a very stiff fine and probably might lose his licence. Got race track at PG don't want to go but want to race on public roads because no cornering skills are involved only straight line speed with throttle wide open only.

Not only no balls... also no brains and soon no money and no licence.

not your grandfather's road either. and please mind your language, other people may be offended.

a thought struck me today.

why does the TP / LTA are so hard-pressed for bikes with illegal pipe modifications, yet those cars fitted with HID headlights get away scot free?

i dont really bother if one's car has fanciful led lights, but please ! HID lights are such a nuisance. much more of a nuisance than loud pipes.

rode out from jurong island heading into AYE around 9pm. this car with HID lights was behind me at a considerable distance, and that car was behind me for quite some time. it's already quite glaring. i wanted to siam but couldn't see from my mirror. got abit distracted and unknowingly straddled to the next lane, NEARLY kena sideswipe by a car which was going quite fast. luckily i reacted fast enough. if not .. haizzz..

then at traffic junction near my house, another tard with HID lights pulled up behind me. WAHLAAAAAUUU i really felt like getting off my bike coz its really glaring! adjust my mirror also still glaring! if only i could fold in my mirrors..~ lights turn green, moved off. then that tard tailgated me. WTH laahh i know i slow but no need to tailgate what.

reach home, had some eye relaxation therapy. like those kind we used to practice during primary school. all these stupid lights is going to spoil my eyes. and until now, i'm still seeing some white spots.:dozed:

if loud pipes saves lives,

bright lights distracts other road users.

now that is impossible... my horn is very loud one, almost as loud as the air horn those huge trucks has... i horn at passengers jay walking, most of the time they will jump up like kenna shocked like that. sometimes i horn at cars, the drivers will look around to see who horned them not expecting it is actually a bike horning them... it is that loud... and i like it and don hesistate to use when there is a need to.

Just turn on the camera before wearing the helmet, then the camera will shoot where you are looking. :D

haha! now that'll be good. maybe like that, you can easily record videos from top down eh? imagine a female car driver with nice cleavage comes along beside you, all you need to do is to look at her door and you'll record things from the top view.

Some things i saw on the road for the past few days.

1. Have you ever seen 2 bikers fighting, on the road, while moving? I have. Both are cubs. I didn't see what caused the fight but i was in time to see one cub rider kick out at another cub rider's bike. the second cub siam away. The first one still not happy keep shouting but dont know what he was shouting. The second one gesturing like saying come lets go to the side and fight. The front one keep riding in a zig zag manner as if to block the second one. In the end, i siam them far far away.... So dangerous.

2. I was squeezing in between lane on the highway. 2 bikes in front of me is a biker with his pillion. They are happily talking away like nobody's business. The bike behind them was impatient, he keep a close following distance. I didn;t want to join them so i keep about half a car length behind. THen i saw there was an accident on the other side of the highway so i checking it out. When i finished looking, and was turning back to my lane, I saw the bike in front of me "skid" and fell. So scarey. Luckily i siam in turn to not run him over. Couldn't stop as other bikes were behind me so i went on. Just further on slightly, i saw a broken bike chain on the road. Not sure if it was his...

People, be careful on the road.
