Ah... you may blame it on the exuberance of youth.

 

The good thing is... you are frightened by your own emotional reactions which may lead to ugly consequences. It shows that you are aware of your own shortcomings and therefore half the battle is already won.

 

Always stay cool on the bike and expect to meet alot of morons on the road. Expect to have to take evasive actions on account of some stupid actions by these morons.

 

Once you have these expectations all the time when you are on the road, nothing will surprise nor anger you. This is my frame of mind whenever I get on the bike.. coz I can be safe but some other moronic road users are not and I don't want to pay for their mistakes with my life.

while i am at home nursing from pnuemonia, some uncle in lorry knocked down my bike..

 

i'm so down on luck.. battling 40 degree celsius of fever for 4 days and vomitting of blood. now even bike also injured..

 

haiz... i am so depressed..

wah... fragile.. take care of yourself leh.. bike injured can be repaired... u sick until so jia lat better take good care and recover n take medication regularly

I dun want to sound like a pharmacy salesman... but can I recommend you start taking Shark Liver Oil aka Squalene. Comes in clear capsules like the normal cod liver oil type.

 

It builds up your body resistance. I used to get flu very easily till I started taking this... now it is very hard for me to be down with flu. What I will get is sore throat, followed by a slight cold. No more fever. The down side of all this is.... not easy to get MC anymore.

Back to the topic........

 

Just now while riding back from work along the KJE. Was cruising at 80 KMH on the innermost lane coz was deep in thoughts...

 

Suddenly a TP on a bike overtook me on my right, handlebar just about a few inches away from mine and he was probably doing about 100 KMH, and was weaving in and out of the vehicles... where he rushing to, I dunno.

 

But find very bo liao leh... why must overtake someone who is riding so slow in such a manner. Gave me a fright. Somemore middle lane empty so dunno why must squeeze until so near.

 

This not the first time I kena this and I don't think it will be the last time.

 

Anyone else ever kena the same thing while riding??

ya.. it's horrible..

the illness make me have cold fits and my temp would dip to 36 degrees C.

and after the cold fits, the temp would shoot up to 40..

damn..

 

today i went TTSH, and they let me home after they checked my oxygen intake..

but part of my left lung is infected and not functioning..

 

and just now a loud screech from my mum woke me up.. and in a frantic.. she dragged me downstairs with the coolpack stuck to my forehead and in pyjamas dress.

 

she witnessed how the lorry knocked over my bike. haha.

 

luckily he left me his contacts.. it was too dark and i cant see well in dark.. so i told him i will call him in the morning for any damages...

 

hope he wont go back on his words..

i'm on too many medication..

It is a health supplement... something like multivitamins. Not a medication of any sort.

Yesterday afternoon while going home, saw TP station by the road shoulder at ECP, after passby the TP for quite a distant i pick up my speed to match the car infront of me about 100+, suddenly the TP bike went pass me very close too, i tot i finish, but the TP went straight ahead, damn heng sia!!!

saw an accident at Ubi Ave 3 just now...

 

a taxi and a bike with side cart (mostly uncle rider which they use to carry goods), the bike flip over and all the goodies all over the floor, police taking photo when i passing by (tp hq just 50m away...)....

 

the taxi block perpendicular across the road, seems like the taxi doign a illegal u-turn and the bike hit it and flip...

 

it is a green union taxi, nowadays a lots of taxi on the road, must be very careful when see them infront of you... always sudden stop and do other dangerous stunt...

At AYE towards ECP, riding on first lane. Suddenly this red/white taxi swerve from my left into my lane, was prepared since I saw him talking to his passenger. When he got infront of me, he waved a 'sorry' using his left hand and continued talking to his passenger.

while i was waiting for lift, i heard his tires screeching.. like he in a hurry to reverse and get out of the car park..!

 

his lorry is so big!

he shouldnt even come into a hdb carpark i think...

 

but i got him before he can go away..

 

he was pretty nice.. hand me his namecard and such.. and ask me to rem his no. plate..

What happen to me today...

 

Was going to school today around 1145, decided to exit TPE at Pasir Ris exit.. Waiting for the traffic lights to turn green, I was at the most right side of the lane going to Tampines.. Then the taffic lights turn green, the car in front proceed than I move off.. Suddenly, this green car from my left made a sharp turn to the right banging me from the left side of my bike.. He was going to enter the expressway again i reckoned.. I managed to gain control but luckily didnt fall.. I stopped and checked my bike.. I decided to moved off cause I heard vehicles from the back horn.. Then I noticed that my bike sounds rather funny, stop at Caltex to check my bike.. My exhaust pipe belly was dented and slanted.. Anyway, this is my first time been hit by a vehicle and was scolded by my friends for not taking down that damn car plate number and driver's particulars to claim my damages..

 

Now, I'm only left with bruises on my left feet..

Take it as a lesson lo.. when i still a newbie, i met this kind of incident also.. Tat damn driver hit and run at a small road near tampines mall. My Sp flip and the driver dun even bother to stopped..

 

Later part i was sent to the hospital. Few weeks later they caught the driver, summon him $240 plus demerit 9 points..

 

Tat driver also heng, never kana 'Gan tong' Still manage to claim back my fairing and some accessories..

 

Be more careful in Future and hope u recover soon.....
