The car didn't stop to provide assistance. This is a hit and run case. Maybe the person who has the video, should make a police report regarding this matter and let the authorities handle it. It's easier for the video holder and the police like this. They can liaise with their own officers more effectively.

 

i doubt it'll be classified as a hit and run... because technically the sunny driver did cut in dangerously but it seemed like the FZ hit (or maybe might not have hit if he was braking already). A more likely charge would be dangerous driving for the sunny if they choose to charge.

 

for the FZ, he's got the short end of the straw... the red car gonna claim him liao saw the bloody big dent on the door...

In most lane spiltting case, bikers will always lose. Just like the case at PIE where the guy loses his leg.. Collided with SBS. Didnt get to claim ANYTHING YET was fined and with demerit points. All because he was lane spiltting.

I think 'did not stop' in this sentence means the driver did not render assistance in any way before moving off. Not meaning physically stopping only.

I am in a taxi now, just saw an accident at Lornie entrance to PIE towards Tuas. It seems like that bike kissed the van's backside. Driver is helping the rider. Hope he's okay.

overheard some bikers chatting...they were saying there are lots of fazers in sg lately. it is now the most popular class 2 bike in the same way that super 4 is the most popular class 2a bike.

 

personally i don't know if it is true. but perhaps that can explain why more fazers made the news recently on stomp...just because there are more & more of them, higher probabilities. perhaps?

Sorry man. Was asking a question. Not saying a statement. Two bikers are taken from the land of the living. Would be most damaging if were to speculate. Mind bogging to hear of accidents between bikers where both are well.. U know.

Sometimes, we like to say the 1st thing that comes to mind.

Afterwards we apologises when we realised that what we said have hurt people.

Typing in a off hand reply is same as a spoken casual remark, but sometimes pause and think before doing so. Thin lines between insensitivity, silliness, lack of tact and carelessness.

 

An accident photo/ thread tends to generate many replies, many of which are speculative and serves no purpose. Perhaps when you have lost someone before to an accident then you can really realise and understand that that body on the road means someone's son/ husband/ father is not coming home that day.

Ya. My bad in leaving the ? Out too. Anyway, was just trying to reconcile how did such a terrible accident take place. Rarely see bike bang bike until such dire consequences. Now we know..

The view must have been obstructed by heavy vehicles for both riders. Really don't know what to say. Hopefully the survivors get well soon and don't suffer from any long term disabilities like me...

I wonder how bike hit bike will instant death. Or maybe very unlucky, after fall kanna on e head or something.

 

Fellow riders, if wan ride pls ride with some protection. Just spend a bit more to get FF and armor gloves ba. I think this 2 piece will help to go a long way le. And can wear for years. What is $400 spread across at least 2 years? Tat is only less than 20/mth. Ur iphone or android phone (if u own 1) cost around tat price already.

 

So before u decide to upgrade ur phone or bike or watever other comfort item. Consider upgrade ur protective gear first.

This is what i heard... 1 of e Fazer rider had made an illegal u turn...

 

Few weeks ago along newton flyover oso got fazer involve in accident, passed away on e spot.. Happened at night.. 3 friends riding n 2 collided into each other...
