Many of these drivers never experienced the discomforts and challenges riders go thru, especially high milege riders ride in the rain too much and fatigue. Thats why riders who tajke up driving generally make better drivers and more considerate drivers. Those silver spoon drivers parents buy car for them... or those first vehicle otr is car, u want them to understand bikers can tang gu gu

I rode previously and love riding. Though I am driving now, I understand the feeling of bikers.

 

Whenever possible, I always give way to bikes.

the iu that comes with my new bike within 2 mths spoilt cuz i cant read the amt on the display. previously on my old bike aft changing to a new iu, it spoilt within 2 weeks

 

 

 

the last 1 i changed also the display spoil, cant even see how much it's left on my cashcard. had to used other bikes iu to check balance

No offense, but I'm curious why no left side mirrors? Broken? Or on purpose?

 

The bike shop which i bought my bike from gave the left side mirror, a right one. Only after a few weeks then i realised they gave me a wrong left side mirror since it does look like the left side mirror. So i removed it. Even so, i would remove it on purpose. Gotten a new pair after kena stop by tp hehe

Hi, those who may travel on alexandra road from keppel toward AYE. Do avoid lane 3 near e alexandra techno park. There was a slighly big and deep enough hole. I was driving so just had a scare. Bike will be huge risk. So be careful! Do share with ur rider fren if u noe they go tat road.

Yeah! I ever kena once that exact hole at night after dinner at ARC. Gave me a huge bump and a scare. I also noticed such holes becoming common on singapore roads.

 

Another irritating thing is those powerline works etc, leaving roads uneven.

LTA not maintaining the roads like they're supposed to, what to do? They more interested in issuing summons now because got more profit from that.

Too many uneven roads due to construction. So when riders fall they can fine us for self skid. Need to patch back those holes evenly as the rest of the roads and not just patching it back leaving a huge noticable bump. May not be a problem for drivers but it is to us riders.

Cb LTA... Summon me for using a defective IU unit to go through Erp gantry. $70 summons. Wtf. I put my cash card in but it never deduct my fault? Wtf sia LTA. If its defective, why carpark gantry can deduct the Erp can't deduct? My fault the Erp gantry f***ed up? Seriously. Now need to appeal. Waste my time. NB... Haiz... Damn useless technology can't even work properly and I get blamed for " using defective IU unit to go through Erp gantry."

Tell that to them. Even the IU to me is a very poorly designed product. Nothing was ever done to really help riders.

The IU is just a tool to suck more money out of singaporeans. Faulty but cannot be repaired. YET, it still can be detected when go thru gantry!!! Can blink red light somemore!!!!!

This is what sucks. iu spoit we get letter to be fined. when we disagree and say iu spoil , many of them dont believe us. and waste our time doing all the red tapes. when we are lucky, one nice worker confirm that it is indeed not working, we feel vindicated but we will never get any apologies from them for cuasing ALL this problems.

my guess is that he was going too fast and cant control his car properly thus crossing into my lane almost hitting me. i believe there is no reason for him not being able to see me as he came from the next lane behind. besides, i was wearing a neon yellow helmet as seen in the picture below. it is either this or he did it on purpos

 

 

 

Watch out for road works causing diversions or kinks in the roads. Most drivers do not cleanly follow the road markings and often eat into the next lane.

 

I usually check my sides before entering these kinks, whether I'm riding or driving, because you never know if the vehicle next to you is gonna cut thru the bends. Some bikes are also guilty of this.
