Saw a brand new mt09 rider today. Damn cocky. Commend on his nice bike also give some idiotic looking face. Like the fishmonger at market slapped him with a big fish. Rich people on bikes more expensive also not half as cocky.

My ST13 'slept' on the car park floor after I pushed it down from main stand.

Gotten this bike less than a week. Now have phobia releasing it from main stand. Lol

The bike is super duper heavy. Tried to lift up on my own but failed.

Anyway, I want to thank the uncle who stopped and offered his help to lift the bike together.

Thumbs up!

Don't know whose fault, hopefully got witnesses or evidence footage from other vehicles. Too bad cant help much as I didnt witness the accident and in the rush.

Pls dont flame me guys.

Ride safe bikez, look out for irresponsible drivers. Cheerz....

A kind hearted Bro suggested to me that I should sit on the bike then rock the bike to release it from main stand.

By doing this, will it cause any damage to the main stand or suspension?

Sit on it, rock awhile and let the weight itself drop it down, both your feet on the ground to stablize, and right hand ready to brake.

the way it's taught at BBDC, if i ain't wrong.

No offense bro. But I think you've mistaken cos I just passed my class 2 at BBDC. The instructors taught to stand beside the bike, rock it towards the front then brake the front wheel(I always tilt the handlebars right so that the bike will lean towards me instead of falling away from me).

Having said that, you're method is more convenient and if my class 2 bike has a centre stand, that will be the preferred method to dismount the centre stand.
