Saw that too. Never really affected or disturbed by such before however this one is really disturbing for me. The driver still can run off. Some even commented the rider is to be blamed.

Heard the rider is hospitalized with back injuries. Wishing a speedy recovery to the rider.

To the highly intelligent driver of a Black Volvo SUV, likely xc90 *did not check* around 4:10pm merging from eastbound PIE exit to Thomson Road (towards Upper Thomson) outside the old Police Academy, who later exited towards Thomson Rise heading to TPY. Having signals on does not exclude you from having to use your brains or eyes or both. Exiting the slip road, cutting across a merging lane, across another lane abruptly and at an acute angle there, just to get to the rightmost lane is pure idiocy. A good thing I was alert and saw a large black object moving at odds with other traffic and barging out fast. Managed to shift to the right until I was almost in the guard rail. Did not even have any time left to sound the horn until I was safely past. Signal light does not give you the right to make abrupt lane changes, ignore safety checks, or an excuse for failing to ensure the traffic conditions allow you to perform change lanes (even not abruptly). Reiterate, signal lights are for signalling your intentions, not a ticket to do what you want. Going by your logic, anyone who has a signal light on can force his way into other vehicles cuz "Signal light is on". There was plenty of space behind me to make the lane change after I had passed. It's pure negligence.

Today I was lucky to avoid getting hit by you in your tank. Tomorrow, some one else might not be so fortunate. Spare a thought for other road users.

Smile! Tomorrow will be worse.

i put 1 ontop of my helmet which is sj4000. very good. at night not soo bad. at the back , i put my old nokia. , just for the purpose of recording. when i view on the handphone, image is very clear and crispy but when i take the sd card out and view on the computer, image is not so sharp but still very good. its because of the limitation of the hp. soon , i will put my iphone 4 there because at least its resolution is quite high.

probably, next year then i willput my samsung s3 at the back.

if nothing happens, i will immediately erase. its tempting to keep for a few days the images but its best to keep a practice to erase immediately IF nothing happens.

my peeve in placing the cameras is how to ensure the stick. 3M stickers given normally work, but after putting and taking the camera out so many times , the glue loses its consistency. sometimes , i so lazy, i go for weeks , trying to find the excuse to get a new 3M sticker

Where the heck the fellow get licence? Bicycle also faster.

What cam do u guys use? fix on bike or helmet?

Mine fixed on bike. Installed on helmet before but due to regularly checking blindspots and mirrors the recorded will give me a headache when I watch it later on. ;)

Is it the 3M dual lock? Its quite pricy but its strong and durable. Sold by length at hardware shops. Used to try to mount the old Nokia73 back when there were not any affordable on b9ard cameras for vehicles. Cable tied the hell to my bike but it does not work. Was about to get the keychain cam but was a few days too late because few days later regained consciousness in the hospital. Now never feel 'complete' when riding without camera. Its been working fine but still need to adjust some settings. Edited by duo

3M is given when i bought the SJ4000. the 3M is the double sided sticker supposedly strong. infact i bought a few more dvr. i should have known about the VSYS DVR. then i would not have wasted money buying the useless small dvr made in @@@@@. the worst is having to reset the dates whenever the dvr runs out of battery.

The dual lock would be better. Its those 'velcro' like thingy usually on p-plates and headlight protectors. it is pricy and last a forumer updated me that hardware stores are selling it at $6 for only 5 cm.

But this one is bigger sized. Still have some left from previous purchase. If interested leave a PM. :o

I also bought some other dvr before finding the vsys. Not too many of it though. Even wanted to buy the Sony action cam but was put off by the price.

I believe its been discussed. Its not really waterproof and to extend the lens in order to 'hide' the unit you will have to diy and attach another ribbon cable to it. The mobius was based from the 303 keychain which was for its price really good. Except that it needs waterproofing. Mine died due to a sudden heavy downpour. Luckily get to salvage the sd card.

Was making a right turn from bedok reservoir rd towards bedok north rd just now. I was moving off just as the right green arrow about to appear then suddenly saw a speeding double decker bus appear from opposite trying to beat the amber turning red light....I quickly full throttle to speed off. Miss me like less than 1/2 second:giddy:
