please get 2 cameras. 1 behind and 1 infront. for in front i suggest its better to put on helmet so that you can see changes. but behind put at box of bike. Happy riding and keep cool

yesterday while going home

 

seeing a rxz rider with smokey exhust and a N95 mask on ..

 

gosh the irony

so many irony. which one is more ironic. haze is like 200 and you see people jogging or people still smoke chainlessly and once awhile put on his mask while haze is still high psi-wise

5 mths of riding since i passed 2b & quite a number of close shaves already. If my reflexes were a little slower, i wld hv been a goner by now. In fact 1st day of riding my bike after transferring ownership, already 2 close shaves. most memorable was a car overtake me quarter car length & then cut in front of me on the pie!

 

Anyway... yday morning on my way to work, on a 3 lane rd. I was on the left lane & wanted to switch to ctr lane. All clr, I moved in... chun chun when i entererd the lane, a van on the 3rd lane (right turn lane) slightly ahead of me quickly shot into the 2nd lane cos he didnt want to queue in his lane & i almost had a collision with it if not for some quick reflexes & good brakes!.

 

But more then half of my close shaves involved taxis. Sometimes I fail to understand why they even try to squeeze me out of my lane even when the lane they are on is empty. Intimidation perhaps?

 

I heard having a p-plate on 'encourages' so called 'experienced' drivers to intimidate & bully new riders. Is this theory true? I know someone who did not even put a p-plate because of this reason.

kinda bro. advice to you is to use the lane marking lines to gauge if the car is moving in anot... so before even he move in, you can horn him... not asking you to horn unnecessary la haha.. but i believe a few aggresive horn should be enough to deter any accident from happening.

Haze or not does not stop the world from moving so your normal lifestyle should not be affected as well.

Cannot be haze here then all stay home. No work , no schools or even no Makan.

All stay home and close all windows??

Just do all the necessary and life still goes on.

Put on the n95 or n99 mask and enjoy your life.

I am totally not scared of death. I hate to be an invalid. lying motionless.unable to move but still conscious. eyes moving,crying feeling sad my family will take care of me. Please God. please spare me .

 

Same here. I want to be able to ride again. Thankfully I now can. After my accident in February, my wife is trying to ban me from riding but of course, I won't let her dampen my spirits.

 

I was lucky to get away alive, especially with a sprained wrist and not a fracture. The staff at the hospital thought it was a scarfroid fracture (I hoped I spelled it right) and put a cast on my right wrist. At that time, I realised, I can't even wipe my ass when I needed to!

 

but when the specialist saw my MRI scan, he realised that it's not a fracture, so cast got removed the same day as it was put on! Hoorah!

 

My wrist hurts for a few months but eventually the pain went away.

 

So yes, I was very very blessed or lucky, so I'm going to make things right again by not repeating the same mistake of following too close

Johan. scaphoid bone is one of the 8 bones located at our wrist. many of these bones trapezoid, hamate, and such are very difficult to see from xray if there is a small fracture. you probably had a ligament tear and thank goodness got better. for few months you feel the numbing, throbbing sensation at the lower base of your thumb. sickening feeling, because i got it too because i became superman for awhile and landed on my thumb. lucky no fracture too

Had a hairline crack on my wrist too. Only was discovered by the doctor after a few x-rays and MRIs after being discharged for a few months. But it recovered soon after.

You were lucky I saw that idiotic stunt coming and didn't accelerate as I normally would. Else we would both be on the floor. There was no car behind me. Would waiting 2 seconds for straight-going traffic to go across the junction before turning right kill you?

 

That plus your understeering the corner and having to adjust to make it past the divider makes you look incompetent, not impressive.

Is like that one. every small space, they try to cut in front. Encountered this countless times. Every time, when a bike suddenly cut in front of me, I always tell myself. "aiya. confirm its a malaysian bike". True enough, 99% always "J" plate. every morning and evening will be flooded with these bikes in the expressway. must be careful.
