[sold] FS: Low-mileage FV864L 2002 Ducati Monster 400

Selling June 2002 Ducati Monster 400. Reason for selling - too many bikes and not riding this. COE 2022.

 

This is the model with carbs and the tachometer; not the one with only speedo. Bike is in good nick; original paintwork, seat, only a scuff on the right side from a car-park drop. The bike will be sent to a workshop to get it running (battery is weak from not riding and just storage; needed to be charged) and then put on sale in running condition. Mileage is about 51,000 km, true mileage. Many carbon bits; carbon belly-pan, original Ducati seat cowl, carbon side-covers, louder horn, smaller signals etc all with go with the bike except maybe for the carbon air-scoops. A higher end Monster mirrors (dunno what model) on it. Tyres have plenty of thread. So buy and ride away.

 

Bike will have a brand new Ohlins rear shock installed if sold at asking price; purchased but never got round to installing. 3-digit plate will go with the bike.

 

Selling at $13,000 with the new Ohlins, $12,000 without. Bear in mind the ridiculous price of COE now.

 

Contact is 96969108; but viewing only starts when the bike is ready and running at bike shop; some time next week I reckon. Will update the status here.

I received some queries about the bike, asking to view now even before I send to the shop.

 

The bike is at the shop but the mechanic has yet to give it a once over and get it started. The bike hasn't been used for a last few months and hence need the revival.

 

Will update this ad once the bike is running.

The bike is up and running. Please proceed to view at AMK Autopoint, AMK Industrial Park 2A, #05-27. The name of the shop is Stamford Motors.

 

In the event of sale, the transfer will be done by the bike shop, charges to be shared between buyer and seller.

 

First come first served, deposit of $300 to be placed to secure the deal. Successful buyer please text me to indicate whether taking the bike with Ohlins or not and I will confirm receipt of the deposit.

To update; because there was a few queries .... there is no instalment and no COI. Next owner find own financing if necessary.
