to answer some of ur question.

 

1. there will be an R&R in between 60km from one another approx.so if any of u guys need to stop,thats the best place to do.

 

2. from what i know,125z is fitted with 5 litre tank right?if ur bike never mod or anything then i think it can reach ard at least 120km full tank?thats enough to go from gelang patah to machap i think..but nonetheless..each of u guys bring 2 1.5L bottle drinks say POKKA or COKE and fill them up fully at gelang patah before proceeding to melaka.so in case theres no petrol station...u can use that for awhile...dont worry the bottle wont be eaten up by the petrol so fast.

 

3. average speed my guess would be around 90km/j to 110km/j.in the first trip we went mostly 100km/j,the return trip we went 110km/j mostly and we went for about 120km without stopping.dont worry if ur engine is ok it wont be overheat and seize or whatever,i went there with my conrod shake liao..till now still ok..haha.besides,we have something in common...our engine is air cooled.

 

fyi,we clocked in nearly 200km when we reach melaka.so i guess thats like from wdlds to changi airport to wdlds to changi airport to wdlds back..hahaha

I think it's quite true lah. The distance in between each R&R would be approximately 60km, judgin frm my RXZ meter anyways.

Ehz... my estimation was about 70km per station...

 

Coz normally i travel up north, 2 stations stop 1 time to pump is about 140km.... estimate..

it took 4 people 2 carry it up the stairs to second floor. lift cannot make it unless you stay at shopping center got cargo lift.

1st stop - Machap *80km*

2nd stop - Pagoh * 150km*

3rd stop - Ayer Keroh (A&W) *208 km*

 

*distance denotes from 2nd Link GP RNR to said location. hence, every RNR is approximately abt 70 - 80km away.

 

and if u guys wanna go to Ayer Keroh A&W, remember dat it is the 2nd Ayer Keroh exit (can see the overhead bridge).

 

The 1st ayer keroh exit is 205km away frm 2nd link.

 

Another useful info: ONLY RNR got makan place & Petrol Kiosks. There is another rest point called "Perhentian". Mainly a stop-over with toilets at most. Confirmed no petrol kiosks, not sure got makan anot.

Maybe to build up your confidence, you might wanna ride the bike during off peak hours. To me Sunday morning is the best coz not much traffic on the road.

 

Do not be intimidated by others. Ride at your own speed. If you are ridiing less than 60km/h, I would recommend you keep to your left lane. Better be late than never arrive at all.

 

I was also like dat after my road accident. Scared to overtake/change lane. But I think after 2 years, my confidence is back + I ride more defensively now.

I am alway scare when i ride, cause everyone is out to get you!LOL Seriously try to apply what you learn at driving centre. If you are riding on expressway please try to keep to the left lane if you are go at 70km/h but please don't go too slow on expressway it can be dangerous also, imagine every vehicle started to overtake you. Hmmm you stall your bike while moving off, you need to feel your bike's biting point.....i mean i am sure you should have master it while at driving centre....

seems that you just lack of confidence, and too kanchiong liao. if you can pass the tp test, handling shouldnt be a problem.

 

cruise around your nearest open carpark with your bike till your are confident first. actually eway isnt that scary, i find eway easier and safer compared to minor roads

what the....how many points u get for tppt?18 points??no wonder...at least rxz is quite similar to driving centre's bike...i rode an espee when i first bought my bike...of course im scared of the road also but heck...i didnt wobble nor jam brake nor stall or slow...just ride like normal maaaaan...wwwtttffff

 

oh and for the record...its good if ur low profile and scared and all that...all that i dont wanna hear is after u have rode for like 2-3 months...and u dare disturb the others like showing off ur rempit bike and what while p plate...fooohhh...just remember who u r when u first sit on the bike..sorry but ive had enough of irritants by p platers

I still remember the first day when i had just passed my class 2B, the next day i got myself a SP to ride le. I was also damn scare dare not squeeze between cars. I just follow the car behind all the way to my destination for 2 weeks. Whenever big truck or bus pass by me , i also very scare cos the noise very loud. hee hee. But after 2 weeks of riding , i try to squeeze between car le cos i see many bike doing this and so i follow also, save a lot of time sia.

Stay away from optimus prime on expressway also. If they on lane 3 i usually go lane 1... Air turbulance around prime is scary!

Hey guys. Thnks for all the advice! Just got back from TPE just now. Damm congested with alot of lorry. Tried to squeeze here and there at 20km/hr to 30km/hr. Very scary dun dare to go more than dat. Haha. Quite liking ride eway than normal roads. Haha. Im not stalling anymore but breaking still nids abit more work. I try to ride more now just to gain experience. Hope I can gain enough confidence soon. Thnks again.
