Depends on how you set your 2T eg more or less adjustment.

 

More - Minimal risk of piston seize but smoky. Usage about a week.

Less - Less smoke but high chance for piston seize should you often whack your bike. Maybe a week plus or so.

 

Usually mine last for 1 month. Coz i seldom ride hehe. Maybe you can ask the rest.

Try troubleshoot one by one. And also check your air filter. It could be one of the reason. You might want to recheck your carb. Water in the carb also can contribute the factor for improper fuel burning as it temporary cut off the fuel supply.

Mine last around 1 month. Im on premix. Using 20ml/litre of petrol. Using very2 cheap 2t $3 for 1 litre.

cheap 2t(which is not thick ) will last for a week.(brands like shell 2t,red colour castrol and alot more)

affordable 2t(which is thick) will last at least 2 weeks.(motul 510,710,,penzoil,putoline rs959 are really good thick 2ts)

newbie rxz rider here.. any one has tips on how to improve pickup without the max speed suffering?

i assume that a faster pickup will use smaller gear ratios, and in the later part of the speed curve will become lower as well.

Mine average 22 days,2T setting not too low not too high,Using to and fro to work sometimes pick up my wife if she doesnt drive or too tired.Using Shell Advance semi synthetic or Motul 710 or something like that

To the rider of FX7009H and ur grp of friends (RXZ, Spark135 & 125Z) that are staying at bt panjang blk 146 & 148 respectively

 

stop parking ur bikes in between occupied bike lots. ever since u and ur grp of friends started riding, ur bikes are always squeezing in between other people's bikes and because of ur actions, other's tend to follow. ur actions has cuz a disturbance to other riders and their bikes. stometimes because of ur parking stupidity, it has resulted in my bike unable to exit because the exit path was blocked and i had to change my plans or take public transport.

if anyone of u here know the rider and his grp of friends and have seen this msg, pls do tell them abt it. i'm not starting a fight here, it's just a friendly advice because it's not very nice to have ur bikes shifted so that there is extra space to squeeze in bettween

Ur question depends on individual... For myself i prefer premix because i will always be sure that my 2t is always there to lube my piston. I started out on pump when i was riding rxz when one day my pump gasket leaked and i wasnt aware untill my bike sieze. Ive heard afew story of people using 2t pump and they went for full servicing the mechanic forgotten to put back the 2t tube into the carb. So the rider happily ride his bike off after awhile piston seize and found out that 2t tube wasnt inserted in carb. Another story i heard was rider was on his way to werk suddenly piston jam , found out 2t tube was out from carb. Might be someone sabo his bike pull out his 2t tube.. So u decide which is best...

If u thnk tat's worst, u shld hav seen how drivers over here and parked their cars... Hmmm... S'pore's vehicle population is growing - WE NEED MORE PARKING LOTS!!!

i just think it's inconsiderate. before the grp of riders started riding, such situations nvr happened. if the bike lots are full, not a single bike squeeze in between occupied lots but instead either park their bikes along the curb or at the bike lots just behind another blk which is within last than 5 mins of walking distance.

 

ever since this grp of riders started riding, they particularly liked to squeeze their bikes at the lots just in front of my blk when they are staying at the blk that is diagonally across. apparently, lots are available just right beside their blk and i dun see them squeezing their bikes there. they even went to the extend of shifting my bike from side stand to main stand and park it close to the edge of the lot so that they can squeeze their bikes into the lot and it's happening for the 2nd time.

 

i dun mind them squeezing in between lots. bikes squeezing in between lots happens at Cineleisure public carpark all the time. what i angry abt is they even went to the extend of shifting my bike! now, that's not a very nice thing to do.
