Staff is an idiot. He chopped the cert without checking the documents first. Its a mistake he made, thats why he's trying to cover up his name. He cannot give you the documents because if you get stopped and cert checked he will kena damn bad. Quite sure LTA will help you out here. For now, I wouldn't ride the bike to avoid unneccessary trouble.

Call already but must wait till monday then LTA officer work.. I hope LTA will help me out. Monday going back motorworld for advise.

 

I think my documents withheld is in the bin by now if hes really determined to cover everything neatly. Think I saw him walking to the bin and throw a stack of neat documents.

 

He didnt gave me a deadline of when to get my VAAC no. as well when I asked for it, just told me get it done ASAP if not he will fail my inspection. Gonna try take urgent leave this tuesday to settle. Hopefully my documents still retrievable.

LTA should help you out. If not, I'm sure the inspection centre has CCTV cameras. They should show he took the documents. Whatever it is, if he doesn't return your documents once you get the number, he is really screwed.

I got not much hope on LTA, to me they are more of infamous of being greedy moneysuckers instead of real road enforcer to me. But I intend to stir this damn big if I'm not able to get my vehicle road certified because of this saga. The way the customer service, old man, 40s-50s malay man attempted to smoke me out with a smirk really pisses me off, if he had been honest to me and explain to me truthfully and sincerely what we can do, i still can give in here and there.

 

I seriously don't understand how someone like that can be in the customer service line doing logistic and paper works.

 

What bad luck to meet him. My parents told me I should had argue all the way until I get all my documents back.

Yes you definitely should argue to get all your paperwork back. Shoot an email to STA if you need to as well, make sure you tell them date and time and name of the man. LTA should be able to do something as they are affiliated with STA. If STA doesn't do their job properly, LTA can make the decision to terminate their services. And in this case, STA definitely did not perform their duties appropriately.

on a side note, why didn't you request to speak to the supervisor or manager at STA instead?

 

They should be able to draft you a letter that they are holding onto your documents for XXX reason.

This kind of suituation you have to e-mail the Deputy if not the Director of LTA incharge of such affairs to straightened issue out.

 

Say it as it is without fear, the ppl working all these linked gov companies are not going to wake up their fxxking idea let alone talk about 'providing customer service'.

 

All these really gives the man on the street what sort of 'systemic issues' are seeping in as rot throughout their entire management.

 

And ppl who are supposed to provide customer service like Mxtxr World are nothing more than a used car salesman that will forget about that customer once they walked out of their shop.

Got a refund plus cert return after emailing+calling to STA and LTA through the whole weekend.
