I actually have a safer method to clear carbon.

Just ride 40km nonstop at 7000rpm. Speed is 100(?) or 110 the most.

Just like How I go outlet. UBI to Jurong pint then go compass point at sengkang.

Carbon sure clear one.

tested.

Is it ok to maintain the rpm at certain level for a long period - like cruising in expressway ,or we should ram and release , ram & release................

During run-ins, try not to exceed 7k rpm. Bcos by saying that your speed will be ard 80km/h to 100km/h when cruising. Maintaining at 80km/h is alrite, but occasaionally speed up to 90km/h is pretty fine. Always remember not to exceed the speed limits.

It quite difficult to ride slow on the expressway , those lorrys will tailgate me very close even when I am in the left most lane following a safe distance from the vehicle in front of me. So mostly I will ram the throttle to 6K to a speed about 80kmh ,then release a bit let it cruise along , then ram again . This is ok right when run in?

Mostly I won't exceed 90kmh unless overtaking , safety come 1st. I won't even squeeze in between 2 lane when all vehicles are moving , just follow a safe distance behind , when safe then overtake. Saw many bike zoom in zoom out in between cars also make me  on the expressway.

i believe u had clocked 1000km already?

riding 80km/h is really a pain n i know it cos i oso encounter it b4.

1 way is to go riding to nowhere just to clock ur mileage to 2000km or mayb take a longer route to work or go home.

so for now mayb u can just maintain 80km/h. ram up to overtake is ok then i have to drop back to 80 cruising speed liao lor. if keep ram up n down oso no good 4 ur engine. :weep:

No , so far clock almost 600km , due to the fuel price now , I mostly ride the shortest route home , ride to nowhere hurt the pocket a lot. To & fro from work place go home already clock 60km each day. If ride to no where i will  on the petrol $$

Do u mean during run in , can maintain the throttle to travel at 80kmh?? Cos I read the manual , it say do not ram over half throttle or maintain it for long period , so mostly I play with the throttle to let it go roller coaster

yup u r rite petrol price very ex but maybe can bear with it for the period during run in. once run in finish, i guess the petrol consumption will also be lower and u wont have to bear the agony to keep track of the rpm and speed during run in.

i try to finish run in asap. BC bro lagi best his run in i think veru fast.

Your attitude is either your best friend or worst enemy, your greatest asset or your greatest liability.

Actually I don't need to gan cheong to finish run in , in 10days I already clock 600km just by travelling to work, shopping, etc , just few more days for me to finish run in :cheer: Just to confirm , full run in is 1000km rite?

Yup, u will have to cut the rubber to put the balancer.

The original X-9 balancer? Well, For me I prefers something short and fat.

Cos if I add a longer balancer, I may have hard time squeezing thru during jams.

Oh, btw even after fixed up the X9 extra large balancer , its still able to squeeze in between traffic as 1st to hit any vehicle will be the 2 "mickey mouse ear" as its protruding more then the balancer

Hi Bro, actually full run-ins is 2000 km.

The more mileage you clock, the more seasoned your bike's engine is.

so levin, a full run in for you i can roughly judge u need 1 month from the day you buy your bike. you can actually use the cheapest petrol for running in then after run in, u can use a slightly better petrol cos running in time u can't really ride at high speed.

mayb for the time being, the balancer is good 4 u but not good 4 me cos u haven't c the way i cut the traffic. :cheeky: terrible i should say. Gmax scoot, Gmax n BC all seen during our outing yesterday.
