You really intending to take the G-Max out on an "iron butt ride"? I applaud you... I don't think I will go on this ride even if I have time off to do so...

I was considering of riding up to prove that our G-Max can go for long distance rides.

Iron butt, should be ok, there will be stops every 70-80km. I tried that on my way to Pagoh durian plantation.

If an old Vespa can make it from Thailand to Singapore without exploding or falling apart, I think that pretty much says it all about long distance biking... so many cubs has made Penang-Singapore trips, some of them speeding all the way close to full throttle... pretty much nails down to how hard the butt and how hard the rider is, the machine is definitely able to make it... am I right to say that?

But to really take care of the engine, I think before embarking on long rides like these, it is only wise to have a change of engine oil to fully synth before and after a long ride to take care of the block...

Other than that, really, long rides are of no issue... so many G-Maxes are shuttling Taipei to Tainan everyday in Taiwan... I am sure PGO takes this into consideration when they designed the scooters... Taiwanese riders are pretty hardcore when it comes to long distance riding... it is so common to see them riding their scooters from north to south even on weekends... up mountains, along bendy roads... the G-Max is well designed for these kind of long rides...

The fun for us is to ride convoy together as G-Max riders in Singapore... looking forward to our own medium-short distance ride... how about organising a leisure ride/photography outing to Malacca one of these days before the rainy season/monsoon begins? That would be a fun outing... we can plan this in advance...

Honestly, I don't like riding convoy with more than 10 bikes... it is bloody stressful looking out for the bike in front of you especially when you meet those open throttle/close throttle riders... Some cannot even keep the staggered formation well so the more bikes the more painful it gets...

Just some of my thoughts...

Come to think about it... maybe we can make a video of the outing to Malacca and then post on Youtube for our Taiwanese brethren!

Sure. Of course we can organise an outing for ourselves & for everybody to join to ride Malacca or some waterfalls in Malaysia before the monsoon season comes.
