Lovely mods that you have accomplished on your G-Max mate... was your exhaust system available locally where you are at, or did you order it online?

Actually trimming the foam on the seat helps a lot... instead of shortening the fork and shock.

Hi folks. Just sold away my bike and looking around for a daily transport and probably thinking of an auto scoot.

How's the reliability of the Gmax? Parts easily available without having to wait too long? How many L of engine oil does it require? Whats the fuel consumption like?

Any input is greatly appreciated! :)

So far the G-Max is probably one of the more reliable scooters out there from the fact that you hardly see much of them in workshops, even in Taiwan when there are many of them on the road. Google the reviews online and you can read up from various owners... only thing I see commonly are how many G-Max owners crashing their bikes because they have too much fun... ha ha ha...

Parts are easy to get, because it is from Taiwan, and they are near Singapore too... so in the event when you really need something that is not stocked, it is not going to take too long for parts to arrive.

1L of engine oil is required for oil change (I need an oil change soon, hmmm)...

Consumption? I don't know about the others but for me the consumption is between 26-28km per litre...

Sounds like a good buy for transport! Just a little worried with resale if I'm riding for say 2 years? Is there a meetup soon so I could check out the bikes? :)

You can keep a lookout for used G-Max out there if you are not getting them new. The resale value will be relative lah... this is a common thing.

Hi, Usually for common parts, is easily available. Aftermarket parts will take some time. 1L of engine oil is required. FC is ard 26-30km per litre.

Other added features, centre rear suspension provides better stability, water-proof fuel tank, safety switch lock at the ignition, air & oil-cooled engine- maintenance free. Digital LCD speedometer.

Well.... guess I will have to wait for kopi sessions only... you guys who are going, have a good ride and enjoy the durian... take care and ride safe... I am wondering who is going for the iron-butt ride on a scooter to pluck strawberries... I am not a fan of that so that one I am out... looking forward to the September planning... see if there are any interesting things to do then...

Anyone game for coffee over the weekend? :cheeky:
