Red wire shd be ok! Cos those USB output kits are 12-24v input! Sounds like we might have an easy solution...

 

I was earlier thinking of just using a relayed version. Cos this way we don't tap existing 12v lines to the USB charger. Rather, we just tap them to trigger the relay (which has a direct connection to battery to drive the USB charger).

lol i would be too lazy to do a relay version actually cos dont need so much current to drive the USB charger i think? not too sure of the requirements of the charger..

usually you will implement relays if there are voltage drop issues across circuits.

 

but for the horn my mech and some other electrician friend comment before we should tap direct with relay switch so that you can horn loudly the muthabuggers on the road!

operate a vehicle in a way that you benefit other road users pls - and meanwhile, stop whining! be responsible and be safe.
