Hi guys. Im goin to get my first bike and i have the intension to upgrade to class 2A after one year of riding. So i decide to buy a bike which can use at the moment and transport from home to work. I heard from my friends that scooter maintainence fee is higher compare to cubs. Any pro can advice me on this? Or enlighten me. Thanks

2B bike is normal i guess, i had Kymco Grandink 150(8.5years old when i get) for 12months now.

Fix my battery - $80

EO - $16(1 bottle each 3000km)

Spark plug-$10 (i changed at 6000km as to link with my EO)

Brake pad - cant remember how much but normal price.

Belt($65, broke once even after i check the month before that its still new) by right 15,000km u change once.

then Service charge of $25 depending on the amount of work, sometimes don't have. towing also about $25.

 

Other than that, i have no problem going a lot of km.

 

it's only 2A then expensive, the belt is 300+ , its the same as other 2A, increased cost. but i got a lot of space, a lot of pick up speed and looks bigger than cubs.

class 2a n class 2 belts are more expensive but it last longer then class 2b belts

 

engine oil is based on preferences. my bike manual states change engine oil every 10k

 

the added cost is the belt vs chain
