my bike now got a very loud chain sound coming from the bottom, my leg there. I just tighten the chain with koon. The sound comes out with i slowing down and clutch in. Any idea wads wrong guys?

Things changed -

Gearbox,

Tensioner,

Piston,

'2 black things'(hei chai in chinese) supports engine or sth

gasket,

+ many mech terms which i can't really understand

 

because of my budget and gearbox problem, he change some with honda original parts, while other with 'pu tong'(normal) parts.

 

 

What i feel:

1 more gear avaliable, But it's still quite difficult to kick down gears, sometimes will 'tiao' there, have to kick many times before going to gear 1.

 

Engine quieter, no more 'tiang tiang tiang sound' when start engine.

 

Smoother ride.

the sound = chain slapping against your chain guard...check the slack, and go somewhere else tighten again if needed.

2. Rear spocket teeth become sharp enough for some ninja to throw around for target practice.

3. Your chain fell out suddenly and hopefully you dont fell with it.

The funny thing is ( no offence ) that people seem to discover that their bike got 6 gears after months or even years of ridding is really disturbing.

Than they come with bright ideas that the mech anyhow add one more gear. As if he can cut open the gear box, paste a used painting can to accomodate the extra gear. Honda may as well close down and pass bussines over to ah Chong.

when reaching traffic lights. kick from 6th slowly to 1st gear is tiring enough.

Kick 1 time -> gear 2

Kick 1 time -> gear 4

Kick 1 time -> gear 5

Kick 1 time -> gear 6

 

Total kick 5 times.. zzzz
