Hi People,

 

I am new here and would like some questions answered. I tried to look for the answers but i got more confused.

 

I was caught for speeding above 40km/hr on a 90 stretch of road. The officer who stopped me told me that i have to attend court. Can I ask :

 

1) Does that mean my licence will be revoked/suspended?

2) Will I be fined?

 

Hope to get some replies asap. I am very worried as this was my first time and so suey.

But I read that if after a year, your pts will be cleared. Now I am more worried about the court thing, the pts and fine are not a problem yet.

50 and above then court case. urs at most fine + pts. if go court, will suspend for few mths.

 

u are wrong.. any speed 41 and above go court liao.. but you'll need to exceed 61 and above to get revoked.. 51 and above is 18 points... and 41 and above is 12 points + summon.. depending on how much the judge wanna fine u.. but court summons not cheap.. easily $500

go to TP HQ appeal 1st. If officer there good, can reduce your fine and points.

they ought to suspend your license...cos u dont give a damn about others' lives....not to mention yours...

 

why should the judge spare a thought for your license when you didnt spare a thought for your own life?
