I think if you only bought the bike a month ago sending it back to the shop is probably the best idea.

Anyway, if it's the issue I stated it takes about two minutes with some tools to fix. But it could be something else for all I know.

I don't think I will go back again... cos I have been return 4th times.... 1st real light down, 2nd speed meter light down, 3rd start plug week and 4th no batt. If I got there is the no 5th..its look like every twice a week see them.... hate having urgurment with them....

funny during lunch I went home check my bike, its seem like ok and ride to work liao... this Sat die die have to cancel my appointment and send it to workstop... Hey any guy here have reliable workshop in East site..

Jilleen> sorry to hear that. Don't like bike shops much which is why I usually buy private.

I know of a good workshop you can take your bike to. His charges are reasonable too. It's at Eunos Ind Park, will try and get the shops block and unit numbers. The guys name is Rosli. Shop doesn't look like much, heaps of bikes all over the place but he knows his stuff and doesn't rip ppl off.

Hope your bikes miraculous recovery stays that way.

I had this problem b4.

Very easy, change engine oil, spark plug and AIR FILTER

Most likely ur air filter is blocked. Not so much on carb.

after tat tune the air fuel mixture. ur bike will be in perfect condition.

No more regrets.

If you don't have the time or energy to go to JB for servicing you can try this guy called Rosli.

His shop is at Blk 1067 Eunos Ind Park. #01-214. The banner above the shop says Sin Seng Huat Radiator. Ignore the name. You will see lots of bikes out the front. This guy is great, very straightforward and he won't try to chop you. Tell him Chris (Angmoh) sent you. The only problem is that he's usually VERY busy and you might have to wait around a bit or leave your bike there for a while. It's very close to Paya Lebar MRT station.

I just had my engine oil-1litre changed by a bike shop, then went outstation for a week. This morning noticed tt the dip stick does not indicated the oil level, so i top up wif an other .5 liter of oil. Does anyone knows how much engine does the CBR150R uses ?? :help: :help: :help:

normally is like tat one.

u dun have to add. coz it expands when eng is hot n running.

there is 2 region on the eng oil stick/dip watever u call it.

1 is cold region and one is hot region.

eraly morning, when the level is at cold region, its acceptable.

run eng for 5mins.

den take out again, it should reach the hot region.

but if early morning u see the level at hot region, means when u start ur bike, dunno the eng oil or pressure will rush to where

No more regrets.

from where see the indicator of the engine oil sufficient or not?

Reading of oil level is manual thru a dip stick, found just above the rider right hand side foot-rest. I am going to play it safe by put in 1.5litre of engine oil in future. Wat does the Bike manual indicate ?? My manual is all in Thai - so can't make it out the capacity. :help: :help: :help:

Hey i think even after we know the correct amount of the engine oil to fill, we still must check regularly to prevent a problem... right ?? I think the older bikes must check at least twice a month.... :goodluck:

I think u hv to take the oil level reading, when the bike is standing upright. If the bike is on the side-stand then the reading will not be accurate. try it & let us know. :hungry: :hungry: :hungry:

straight up i know.. but now there stil can be 2 types of oil reading

1)when bike not even started( still cold)

2)after riding

which will be more accurate??
