not so expensive lah.. around RM140... the chiong yoshimura footrest is actually for nsr150sp. but can also fix cbr150. just adjust the connecting gear rod can liao :D

yups, i want. can give me an idea of how much the performance improved by after putting it in?

 

if u think about it this way, "change cdi then performance sure increase alot 1". then i would say u r wrong. it does increase ur rpm where ur stock cdi could not reach, but without do the right tuning on ur carb, its just another cdi that unlimit ur rpm. also its unhealthy for ur bike if u dont do tuning. thats why i gave up on this cdi becoz my pocket does not allow me to.

 

let me ask u 1 q, can u catch up with phantom 200/rk-z with full throttle on the green light? i can when i use this cdi without tuning my bike (not only catching up, i can overtake them as well), but i cant when i use stock cdi.

 

hope u understand what i meant.

this q is very subjective. it depends on individual. u hve to try & compare them urself. once u find the eo u r using is good for ur bike, stop trying & stick to that eo. then try to find lobang on where to get it at the cheapest price.

this cdi control n makes the fire goes bigger in the combustion chamber n delete off the default factory cut off limit, without a powerfull sparx plug, a bigger carb,

free flow exhaust, its useless to just plug n play this shindegen e7...u wont really feel the TRUE power....but, u still can get the feeling of a lil bit of torque..haha...

u r absolutely right.

 

if just plug & play the cdi without doing these mods, its very unhealthy for the bike coz the bike is tuned to do its job with the stock cdi.

okie, that's very informative. i am quite interested to do those mods. any recommended places to get these mods done? read about carb tuning and all that, but those are from philippine or indonesia forums. any local mechs do it?

i would recommend race werks @ bkt merah/alex village if u dont mind paying bit more. best if you can convince the boss norman to do it for you.

u guys can try mikuni 28mm OEM (a bit expensive), with the correct /perfect tune, your bike wont suffer from power loss...

 

even at corner...easily outpower a moded ninja 250r on track...

 

im planning for a 200cc blocks, wiseco piston, race gearbox...a rear 2.5 inch lightweight moded rims/bridgestone btlx bt090...only for race use...not for street use...

guys...would like some advice on this matter>im riding cbr150,my rear suspension have this squeechy sound everytime i ride on it...after applying 4wd on that area still have that sound...any advice on what would be the possible prob?

drown the thing in wd40 somemore! A friend of mine had that problem... and after spraying and left overnight.... the sound was gone!

did u touch the old & new oil to compare or just by looking at it?

 

u using denso or ngk plug?

 

i rely on sound~

when i drain out e oil from crank case to e container below, the dripping sound is as clear as when my pee drips into toilet bowl~

:p

 

im using NGK CR8EK. e dual electrode one.

forgot is it $3 or $4 from LAB.

nowadays they bring in Made in Indonesia CR8EK w/ Yamaha logo on e box. still can be used on cbr150. :thumb:

hi guys....is there any specific brand of racing footrest great for our type of bike...? if u know,also state the price range as well...

 

whatever brand of racing footrest u can find for NSR150SP can also be fitted on our ride. e fake yoshi, racing boy, etc. do post some updates after u have fixed up the footrest yah? im keen to do up racing footrest too if it doesn't affect e rear brake effectiveness. pricing wise in JB, i was quoted around RM$180. :goodluck:

 

go for e ones w/ underlying metal support for the gear change & rear brake levers. those totally rubber ones cannot last.

yup, it takes me 5 times failure n almost 2 year to do that on a cbr150, basically u need the courage to do this...

 

in this siggy, im just using stupid sick irc front tyre, n maxxis promaxx rear tyre....haha...

 

currently using bridgestone battlax bt039 for front n battlax bt090 for rear on my cbr150...superb lean angle with this current tyres!!!....

 

im looking for a agv k3 series helmet, anyone care to share some spots n tips? with price would a additional bonus for me!!..thx
