there may be 2 area wif problem - e horn itself or e horn switch. mostly it is e horn - dismantle e horn & test wif direct current. If still loud then the horn switch contact is dirty or worn. If horn is not loud - then change the horn .....lor ........ :sweat: :sweat: :sweat:

damn. few days nv see my bike. today see than the bike is pushed diagonally between 2 slots. wna see is it someone drop my bike but too dark. but cant feel any scraches on the fairing lah. think someone go play play disturb..

I not changing myself, I going to service my piston time when i will bring the things to the shop and ask him install for me. :smile:

Cleaning of piston should be abt 20 bucks. But given the condition of ya bike i would recommand u to change the piston rings and piston. Should be less then 100. Then ran in the bike again. It would be smoother.

hi all, im just got my cbr 15 on 15th march. Been riding it for around 1days liao. it's a nice bike. the pertol i pump v-power, is it okie? coz the shop ppl ask me pump 95 can liaoz..

and i got one prob, when i put my bike in neutrul gear hor, the engire sometimes will die off. anyone here know wad's wrong with my bike?

coz my cbr is a new bike. a fb plate. =)

I had the same problem when my bike was still new - guess U need to warm her b4 moving off. Otherwise go back to the shop & have them tune the bike to a higher RPM during yr running-in period. :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:

ohhh... thx alot... warming up means b4 i starting riding i should switch on engire ? ANd i got one more problem is i dunno how come my starting very slow. i dunno is coz my skill or is coz of bike. but cbr should not be lose to wave rit?

but dunno y every time when stop at the red light and when green light on, and i think start around at the same time, but my bike even is slower than wave.. i think this is coz due to my skill, haha... can anyone teach me how to start abit faster? i just got my license and only ride my cbr for 10days like tat :confused:

For the 1st 1000km pls warm up at least 5 mins. If cannot start, throttle abit and press the switch. Then rev abit until the rpm is stable. The parts is new, need to ran in. :smile:

Hmm. When ranning in slow nvm one. But u just pass ya lisence and u r new to the bike better dun go so fast. After ran in right, maybe can try my way. When light turn green, rev high release clutch quickly, rev even more then start to kick up to gear 2. Rev till about 8 k change again. Comfrim pick up very power one. But then ran in time rpm cannot go pass 7 K.

Hi r3g91e, can tell how much you bought the bike for and your insurance? I wish to get this new as my first bike but concerned that the insurance might kill. Thanks

should be ard 700 if u just get your license and ard 20yrs.
