so is cbr a good bike for me to have a good feel of a sport bike? cause i'm very sure i'll change bike after i get 2A.. to a higher cc cbr.. i scared later i go bike shop buy i'll kana con.. den i also dun see alot of 2nd hand CBR150 around... cause i after 1 year riding will fast fast get 2A le.. =)

yes

2nd hand CBR quite hard to find

this model isnt as common on the road compared to the other 2B sportsbikes. but getting more popular already.

i would say CBR150 gives enough of a sportsbike feel to keep me happy. not sure abt the rest of the other bros and sis here though :p

can i ask something? CBR the tires front and back can go how wide? the back max can go 120? or wat i not sure.... and can use battlax? if can change to bigger de i going to get this bike..

tyres how big u wan to put also can. if the original stock rims not big enough to fit the wider tyres u wan, then can always change to some aftermarket rims. hehe. nothing is impossible. just see how much $$ u want to spend nia. :cheeky:

for me, if i could (accidentally) corner till i scrap the racing footrest on my ex-Yamaha X1 with size 90/80 dunlop TT900 (thai), i dont see how tyres with sizes greater than 90 cant perform similarly. guess the law of diminishing returns applies on tyre sizes too.

btw, for those cbr rider who max speed is 120, i suggested u can ur engine oil to maxima exteo 15-50..mine was also max speed 120 before, after using maxima, u can really feel the difference.. so smooth... one bottle for ard $20, but worth the change.

so wats yr top speed now?

i long suspected it has got something to do with my body mass than with my bike, for failing to achieve top speeds as high as 160kmph as shared by some of the other bros here.

from my experience, cbr150 pick up very stable unlike KR cos of the 4 stroke and 2 stroke difference.

i like the appearance of KR but like the smooth pick up of cbr150.

no offence btw, it's based on my point of view only

Agree with you. Fast but not that fast. Not slow either. Can corner and stuffs. Not bad bike. Cheap maintenance.

Bro, maybe my bike is new thats why can go 160. Ermmm, i think its how you drag the gears also i guess. When i wanna go for top i always drag to RPM 10. Whoever buy my bike will be unlucky.

any1 knows any cheap place to change d cone bearin. d one at d handlebar.. mine spoilt.. my mechanic quote me 80 bucks to change it.. anywher cheaper?

from what i understand, the original steering cone only comes w/ the cone, without the ball bearings. besides ensuring u pay for a Honda original cone, u will need to make sure that the mechanic replaces the ball bearings with high quality ones.

but dont ask me how to differentiate between good and not so good quality bearings k :p

the cost of replacement is high mainly due to the relatively high amt of labor needed. they need to remove front wheel, handle bar & front forks before they have access to the cone. then will needs lottsa hammering with mallet before can get the thing out. haha. tedious~

think $80 is an ok price to pay provided there is good worksmanship :thumb:
