but hor some parts of expressway have metal strips on the road itself, sometime can feel the slippery on my bt39 if there water.. but the grip is still must better than stock..

hmm never understand about the complaints about stock tyres.

i'm using them and dun have any problems with it =) and its going to be 2 yrs soon in 3.5mths hehe

is not accident but u all say that the stock tyre easily skid esp on rainny days and nowsdays always rain and dec is round the coner and will have more to come so a bit worry haha

so how? front hw much? rear hw much? for the tyre.. And lately riding in d rain makes me more scared to ride.. keep skidding but haven fall yet in d past one year.. wen will my 1st fall be? haha

front 200kpa rear 225kpa.

 

front 195 rear 220 also can.

 

corning at gear 2-3 shouldn't skid on rainy days on normal rd.

 

ride slow on rainy days or wet roads.

i still remember a piece of good advice given to me by my ex-campmate who had a few more years of riding experience than me.

 

his golden rule: brake when u see the brakelight of the vehicle in front of u light up

 

my personal add-on: make sure u can see the vehicle in front of the vehicle in front of u

 

there are always exceptional cases when u cant apply these 2 rules (for e.g. when the vehicle in front of u is an irritating speeding lorry/van/bus, faulty brakelights, etc), so try to avoid such situations (e.g. overtake, slow down, change lane, etc)

well, it's maybe 50-50 situation ba. not all feel it's a must. CBR150R is not that powerful anyway, won't skid easily as long u dun try funny stunts. as long u feel safer, then go ahead and change ba. blurger, perhaps u can take over thisisme's stock tires when he changes to BT39. it'll last u another 2 years minumum. u dun take the shop also quietly take anyway. Good idea huh? :cheeky:

wow, how fast do u travel in the rain? fierce!! i usually go about 100kph on highways and 70kph on minor roads during rainy days. no issues with skidding so far. only further braking distance observed :confused:

If you, squeeze the brakes slowly, i don't think you'll skid. I've skidded even on dry roads. Why? cause see red light cam then die die must stop. so jam brake lor. lol.

its the same

u can consider peeling the bright yellow & orange sticker off the white color plastic backing and paste onto yr bike. but there will be risk of the sticker flying off when u ride against strong wind

Anyway bro, i don't ride fast la. That time got one time kena snap by camera. So now, must be good boy see red light cam jam brake. Later kena 12 pts heart and pocket pain. I using STOCK IRC EAGLE TYRES. haha.
