Do you guys think you'll be upgrading in time to come when you are able to?

Do you guys think that our bikes CBR150R has a very limited re-sell market plus value?

Anyone tried asking how much will their bike fetch if sold to a motor diam?

Whenever someone post their sales for CBR150R @ SBF Garage Sales, there seems to be very little responses as compared to threads involving Sparks/SP/KR/TZM. :dot: :dot: :dot:

Whatever it is, CBR150R is really a very good bike for beginners in terms of performance, maintenance, looks & FC. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

upgrade yes but resale value of 2b bike is low lei.. if u r not short of that 1 -2k.. it might be worth it to keep which is for mine case too..

If I am going to upgrade, I wont be selling away my CBR soon. I like this bike alot even she does not have the power I required. Cheers for our CBR.... :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

what there to power if u always travel in peak or heavy traffic.. expressway or roads r still as pack as ever.. good enough for most traffic condition.. though people will prefer higher power bikes.. still its a worthwhile ride on cbr150 though..

i rather keep it for 10yrs too.. plus this bike most ppl r fully paid on it.. no point reselling..

Yes it is available in Singapore already.

You can refer to for RSP, details

http://www.boonsiewhonda.com.sg/

the biggest difference with CBR125 and CBR150 most probably it is the engine.

CBR 125 - 4 stroke 2 valves SOHC

CBR 150 - 4 strokes 4 valves DOHC

And of course the 2007 CBR125R definiately looks much sexier than CBR150 due to the head fairrings.

in car terms, DOHC = 2 legs running whereas SOHC = 1 leg. So 2 legs are always better than 1 leg.

As for cheapest deal in town you have to ask around and see which shop does bring the CBR125 in. I wld recommed try going to Bike Production to try your luck over there.

For the history of CBR150 i'm not too sure, but I believe Boon Siew was selling them before CBR125 came into the picture.

CBR125 RSP you can refer to

CBR150 i believe it's around $5 K ++ to $6 K Range. You can view the previous threads, there was a post about it.

As for motor diam, I believe the cheapest shop where you can get in town is Bike Production. They offers the lowest interest rate plus pricing for their bikes OTR.

As for regards to insurance, if you are below 21 you can call NTUC Insurance for a quotation.

If you are above 21 years old you can call Mitsu and AXA for a quotation.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

waa. i went to the web leh. but the head is still the old one. nvm ba i will go to the shop and ask this weekend. really thanks for your help! =)

i hear you say like that, like 150 better hor. coz of the "2 legs theory". lol

Is it? From what I can see the side profile of the CBR125 from boonsiew, the ends look sharp to me though :)

I think you might want to head down to Boon Siew to have a look at their CBR125R, I believe it's the 2007 Variant that has the bigger brother 600RR headlight style instead of the CBR150 headlight style.

I believe both CBR125/CBR150 are similar and not much difference at all since the c.c are so small size.

you can read up at

SOHC VS DOHC

http://paultan.org/archives/2005/06/22/sohc-vs-dohc-valvetrains/

in short

SOHC = more low end torque

DOHC = higher end power

more valves = more performance, more power and more effiency.
