u know i once was having dinner at The Central, and this guy was apparently pissed cos he was told to go to the cashier to make payment. his reponse? "Im paying customer service! Why should I walk to the cashier to make payment?"

Actually, I agree with that guy. We paid 10% service charge alrdy, y should we go to payment counter? Just imagine if u go to clark quay sitting outside & spent 150 + 15 bucks service charge. Then the waitress ask u to go inside just to make payment.

Worst experience we ever had is that we waited almost half an hour just to place an order coz only got 2 waitress working with so many customers. Thats fine. Then, we were served with our drinks after half an hour. Again, thats fine. After that, we waited more than half an hour, but no food was coming. So I called 1 of them n ask when could we get our food? Then he go n check n immediately come back to my table. Guess what he told me?

"ONE OF THE FOOD YOU ORDERED IS OUT OF STOCK. Would you like to change? The chef is going to cook the other 1 right now."

My reaction was, "I come in for almost 2 hours, but I get only drinks. Could u kindly give me the bill for these 2 drinks?"

Manager came & told me to wait for another 10mins. In the end I went off with my hungry stomach.

Yup. The manager refused to give me the bill. He said he treat us the drinks as a way to appologize.

i agree lor, if its by tips, i dont mind walking there.. but we paid service charge le leh. 10% is quite a whole lot of amt.

i tried to fix the box light problem a little while ago... here's what i did.

remember zed told me about taking out the green wire and putting the green/yellow wire into the parallel circuit? apparently it does not work and i switched back to the previous setup and it worked fine. so now... still no "brake light" yet.

however, i think i know what needs to be done liao. see, whenever we switch on our bike, the tail and headlights will be on as well. in my case, those 2 + the box light. and my box light works the same way as my headlight now

meaning to say it will get slightly brighter as i rev but wont be 1 level brighter when i tap brake. so what i intend to do would be to find out which is the wire/system that "activates" the brighter brake lighting. and its definitely not the green/yellow wire.

and and....... the parallel circuit thing actually makes a small nick into the insulation so that the metal part touched the copper inside, thus creating contact. i think if after a few attempts still cannot... i may want to give up liao.... wait nick and nick and nick.... wait one day the wire snap off.... and u guys know the wiring in our tails can be quite messy...

Haha. all i can say is be patient and think logically. BEcause our bikes are simple machines, and thai people are also V simple minded [no offence]

thats how i solved my problem. But if u got extra ringgit to spare, just go JB lor.

Clutch going going gone?

Sypnosis.

riiight.. some of our bike is 5 years old.. and mine just crossed its 6th birthday. So, the poor clutch inside is behaving abit cranky. So I guess its just wanting to go for a long term holiday.

So zed and I is going to organise a clutch plate and clutch spring replacement.

What are the stuff involved?

Okay, we are gonna change the clutch plates, clutch metal plates, clutch cable, gaskets, Engine oil and the clutch springs

Everything apart from EO and clutch springs will be purchased at Everfit. The clutch is racing clutch spring, it will be purchased in JB and the EO will be purchased by yourself unless you wanna join us to buy.

Whats the cost neh?

I got a quote from Hou Heng in AGL, doing the springs cost $60 to $80 RM, but as we are doing as a group, we might get a better price. Plus the EO, and the gaskets and the clutches I would advice you to set aside $100 SGD however the pricing we will get a quote again at a later date.

When you all doing?

ASAP lor, see when the list of people reach 3-4 then we will head down and do le. BTW my mileage reaching 2K liao time to change EO too.

Conclusion.

Well, if you wanna do. Then do lor, if don't want then its fine. But since your clutch is gone already, might as well do it. I would suggest you do it near the mileage to change your EO, because opening the crank case need to drain out EO one. So kill 2 birds with 1 big fat rock. do it together.

Its open for all, but if your bike is like FBD or FBC. Clutch is still plentiful i would suggest you save the $$ for A&W or mac donalds. well just a suggestion.

This one is just to gather the people to change first. more plans will be given at a later date when the amount of people is present.

i cant recall the wire colors.

but there are 3 wires leading to each brakelight bulb + 2 wires leading to the licence plate light bulb + 2 wires leading to each signal light bulb.

the common color wire between all these wires should be ground/negative.

now we zoom in on the 3 wires for the brakelight bulb.

1 should already be taken up by the ground/negative.

u are left w/ 2.

pick either one to use.

if the box light doesnt work correctly for one, then it must be the other wire.

remember to black tape the exposed parts of the wires after all that nicking thing.

now we zoom in on the 3 wires for the brakelight bulb.
1 should already be taken up by the ground/negative.

currently my box lights up upon start up and stays the same even after tapping brakes. wires used: brown & green.

when i tried brown & green/yellow, tapping brake didnt light up the LED strip. oh wait..... maybe i didnt start engine... like what uncle lim said.... sometimes must start engine before the lights can be fully effective. i dont dare lah cos i push bike to void deck to fix. wait start liao sure roar......

and my block today damn happening already. got one huge area kena cordoned off.... apparently the thunderstorm this afternoon was too strong and it destroyed a portion of the wooden part of the roof. so when i came back i already noticed planks strewn all over the cars below. damages include smashed car windshields and dented car roofs.

srry i didnt inform u.. i decided to come back from thailand liao then change. since terrian is ok.. nshw all the way. so relatively safe. i was wondering when u gg to buy parts cos i just wanna bring thr cluctch cable along so just incase it snap or what i can change.
