CBR150 is not a small bike. Try to compare with others like wave, spark, or sonic. :angel:

I think that chap won't be parking at the bike lot anytime soon... got 2 vespa park next to him, dono how he going to open car door.... and still got the cheek to write letter... whoaaaaa.. big fook driver!!

i admire your proactive nature and respect your guts to speak up against the norms. we need more altruistic and committed individuals like yourself. i have been thinking that SIM needs a bikers club; you might want to consider spearheading such a project. i know a few like-minded riders who are not afraid to ride down this treacherous path with you.

 

P.S SIM security are reminded to take down all unauthorised posters. when i left school at 1pm, it was already removed. if you'd need resources to print 100 copies to be distributed to every kid who's driving daddy's car, i'd be most happy to do so.

Clutch going going gone?

 

Sypnosis.

 

riiight.. some of our bike is 5 years old.. and mine just crossed its 6th birthday. So, the poor clutch inside is behaving abit cranky. So I guess its just wanting to go for a long term holiday.

 

So zed and I is going to organise a clutch plate and clutch spring replacement.

 

What are the stuff involved?

 

Okay, we are gonna change the clutch plates, clutch metal plates, clutch cable, gaskets, Engine oil and the clutch springs

 

Everything apart from EO and clutch springs will be purchased at Everfit. The clutch is racing clutch spring, it will be purchased in JB and the EO will be purchased by yourself unless you wanna join us to buy.

 

 

Whats the cost neh?

 

I got a quote from Hou Heng in AGL, doing the springs cost $60 to $80 RM, but as we are doing as a group, we might get a better price. Plus the EO, and the gaskets and the clutches I would advice you to set aside $100 SGD however the pricing we will get a quote again at a later date.

 

When you all doing?

 

ASAP lor, see when the list of people reach 3-4 then we will head down and do le. BTW my mileage reaching 2K liao time to change EO too.

 

 

Conclusion.

 

Well, if you wanna do. Then do lor, if don't want then its fine. But since your clutch is gone already, might as well do it. I would suggest you do it near the mileage to change your EO, because opening the crank case need to drain out EO one. So kill 2 birds with 1 big fat rock. do it together.

 

Its open for all, but if your bike is like FBD or FBC. Clutch is still plentiful i would suggest you save the $$ for A&W or mac donalds. well just a suggestion.

 

This one is just to gather the people to change first. more plans will be given at a later date when the amount of people is present.

PRICE LIST LEHHH

 

clutch skin @ $22.50 per set of 5 discs.

clutch plate @ $16 per set of 4 discs

clutch cable @ $7 ++ each

gasket @ $4 ++each

ALL PRICES BEFORE GOVERNMENT PROFIT [pls expect a little bit of higher price due to GST. ]

 

is advised to change all. if not next time want to change got to open the crankcase all over again and waste gasket and EO.

man i feel like changing my tailight like to what i see on the 125.

i've thought about the bikers club thing too... but come to think of it... how many are there in SIM? and in order to get "newbies" to join, they must either be riding, or at least have a license. we dont want this club to be a place for young irrational punks to ride illegally.

 

that aside... 100 copies sounds cool :lol: can place them in my box and everytime i pass by 1 daddy-driven car parked in an obstructing manner... i'll just smack 1 piece under the wiper. :D

check to see if there are any other damaged parts. last time mine dropped on its side... the clutch lever bent :(

Don, did Boon Siew recommend u to go to FJT? When I checked something down there, they r very nice ler. Hahaha... But they dont hve the part Im looking for, so the guy recommend me to go FJT. If I didnt hear wrongly, he said FJT is their agent.

 

Conclusion, who knows FJT can get the parts that u want faster than Boon Siew. Rmbr, BS is a very very big company, possibility of doing small biz is very small. :)

Hi all,

 

just bought 2nd hand CBR 150.. :D

but got some minor scratches on the faring (very annoying though) :cry:

 

so, anyone has reccommendation how to remove the scratches?

any recommended shops to fix them? :cheeky:
