Cte tunnel .. read it guys,nd ur opinions.

Hope someone can help...

Was on the way home with frens from chinatown ard 5plus morning was travellin along liang court cte tunnel towards AYE and u guys noe the very sharp and blind bend .. 2 bikes were more to left and my fren n i were more to the right lane when we skided quite badly thru the bend.

We're not speedin anything.. and when we got up and realise that the whole stretch of the right lane was covered with grease and sand.

5 mins emas and police ambulance came they closed up the area and fire engine was washing those lanes.

My concern is,yes i noe its self skided but can we claim from LTA coz im sure we ain't payin road tax for nothing .. i guess someone is prolly in charge of that whole expressway.. cause im sure which ever bike go thru that right lane is bound to skid.

And the police takin dwn statement seems to be havin fun rather than doin his job .. we took down fotos of the road and our whole bike tyres,the police keep saying dun haf to take coz there's cctv at the tunnel they can see from there but cctv is so small

and ya..my gf,fren and i were quite badly injured thou luckily no fractured but all got deep abarasiosn..

hope u & yr gf can recover quickly. that aside, i'd also like to know wat we can do as road users, why not send an email to LTA and see what they say. i believe they have the duty to maintain the public roads to a certain extent.

Perhaps you can send an e-mail to the LTA and the Traffic Police Dept. If anything else fails, going down to the LTA in person may help. Hope y'all get well ASAP. Good luck.

I hope you and your friend recover fast and have fun riding again.

 

Since the road is coverd with GREASE and SAND, I am sure the garment have to dig up somebody whom is responsible for this. And they have camera along the tunnel right?

 

When did this happen and do you intend to pursue this matter? Or just take it as SUAY SEOW lor..

oh gonna quit biking already, was involved in car accident last novem bone broken just recovered only and kena this kind of suey sai.. luckily this time was on left leg all external ..

accidents are really heng suey.my gf,my fren and i all on long mc now really cldnt do much

go see the MP on one of those sessions they have every week. He/she can better advise you on what to do, and can get things done much faster as well.

recently i found that the trucks seem to carry loads that is over their capacity..

that y the debris like sand are aorund the whole road..

if i not wrong, there is regulation that the truck cannot carry more than a certain amount..

my friend almost lose control of his bike and his gf fell off the bike recently..

reason: bitumen spilt over the road..

i feel that TP and LTA should do something abt it..

in no way i am offended.. but dont because of some black sheeps and u deem the whole organisation is the same.. like taxi drivers.. everytime if a taxi is involve in accident.. People confirm have the mindset that taxi driver in the wrong.. maybe in most of the time yes .. but sometime they are the victim.. hope u understand what i trying to say

Yeah, I agree to what you said. I should not just becoz of some bad ass cops and condem the entire uniform. (knock my head)

 

Lastly.... donno why I hated policeman so much. Been with lots of trouble communicating with them WHEN THEY AT UNIFORM. Heh heh heh.

today i travel through the same cte tunnel, still there are patches of sand.

 

One thing important is good thing yesterday i read up this post, and just now while passing through this tunnel, and when i saw the sand patches, it suddenly reminds me of bro retro-dots....... i slow down immediately lor.

 

but the sand patches are quite bad really. in fact, one of the most sandy area is also at ECP towards rochor. everyday, lorries loaded with sand and rocks will definately be seen there. beware also, bikers.
