Portable Mobile phone Charger

Hi,

 

I'm looking for a portable charger to charge my handphone.

 

I've heard the China brands are dangerous, and may cause your phone to explode while charging. Is it true?!!

Cos, there's many in Qoo10 that's going rather cheap.

 

Anyway, I'd make my way down to Sim Lim one day soon to get one.

 

Anyone who's got a brand to recommend?

And what must I look out for?

What phone are you using ??? Are you talking about power pack ?? If you talking about power pack , get a good brand , not the cheapo china brand one.

most of the china portable charger aint reliable, heard a few cases that the portable charger explode when left to charge overnight

they hardly explode but the battery life drain super fast after some use

xiaomi is quite good! seems quite reliable so far. they came up with a slimmer version of the 10000mAh

The ones from Xiaomi are actually quite reliable. So keep a look out for that. But most batteries come from China whether you like it or not. Hard to escape. So just go with a more reliable brand with a better warranty procedure and claiming.

cost wise xiaomi really beats the crowd. if you can afford go for a better brand like energizer or sanyo.
