Try this mat available from Daiso. $2 only. Only risk, some petty thief will just steal it.

I also use it on my aircon compressor at home. Helps reduce birds landing on it and poop poop all over e compressor. :)

Have tried this mat, bloody cat sometimes just knocks it off.. I found that if I do not cover my bike, they are less likely to rest on my seat.

I always find cats on motorcycles a blessing!! Please don't harm the cats, safest way is to spray your perfume weekly on the seat. Keeps them away.

I think most would find cats a nuisance on our seats, not because we don't like cats, but they scratch e seats and damage it. Other than that, I hv no issue w cats. There's this tabby at my area mscp that meows often when humans walk past, so I tend to just give it a little massage sometimes.

Guess I just biased haha. Used to cats scratching my seat and even to an extent of sleeping on the seat and vomiting hair ball but I just love cats so it's ok haha

I used a bike cover. Last time got 1 cat like to sleep on my seat and occassionally scratch my seat cover. Then I put newpapers on my seat, did help at bit but not much so the cat sometimes just knock of the papers.

Nowadays my area lesser cats, and the only cat I know sleeps under the bike inside the cover, so ok with me.

One solution you can try is the seat bra thing. It's quite thick, so I expect cats unable to scratch the seat cover underneath.

cats seem to prefer covered bikes. nice and warm i guess.

i cover my seat with a plastic bag before covering my bike with the canvas. been effective for the past year or more. i think they don't like slippery surfaces.

Honda CG145, Honda CB150R ExMotion. And a few others in between...

The bike seat condom seems to keep cats away because apparently their nails get stuck in the netting and they don't like it. Another option is put the thick car mat and put bungee cord but lehcheh and can get stolen or discarded.

Bike covers work against you coz they actually prefer to Climb under the cover where its warmer at night.

Catch one cat and spray soak the bugger with dettol antiseptic spray. Let the fella go back to its kampung as a warning to them!

Or you can try fruits like lemon or lime, those with small acidic compound, recommended by people who wants their cats to stay away from certain areas at homes.

I just stuff the loose end of a perforated bag of mothballs between the seats and it works wonders

Downside is that I have to keep the mothballs in my box

Which may not be a good thing when I'm buying dinner back for the family and the food shares the same box

Of course I tie up the mothballs and the food separately but there's this psychological bug nagging me

I love cats but all my 3 bikes have some claw damage on the seats

I blame the neighbourhood auntie who puts out food for the cats near the bikes in the MSCP :-(
